To be honest mate, I don't need to write constructive stuff (although I do occasionally), because there is tons of it already provided by other people. Hence I prefer to stimulate debate.

Are you sure they get upset? Maybe they're just having a laugh. I dunno about everyonr else, but I'm joking most of the time and I think people like Squirrel and DrAndy are as well. Some of the others may take it seriously, but I'm sure no-one is badly upset, or, as you say they wouldn't read the posts.

I, myself, view a Smeg thread as the chance to watch a good fight between two prize contenders with a will to win - I'm the one with the ringside seat, who sometimes gets a bit of blood and sweat on my shirt, but don't worry, I won't charge you for the dry-cleaning, it was only 239 baht from Big C.

Because you come across as arrogant and uninformed. You try to place yourself on a pedestal above others on here especially with regard to material possessions (when you often have less than many of us) and you have tantrums when people have differing opinions (which is actually very funny). And you like to make veiled threats against people's lives here, even though the threats amount to nothing because you know pretty much nothing about the circumstances of those you attempt to threaten.

All in all you are a nasty piece of work who is generally not welcomed here.

You may well be right. There are a few stir-crazy types too who have lost their marbles in Thailand and who find satisfaction at firing off insults at complete strangers, kind of like a kid who sticks his or her middle finger up at people on passing buses, knowing full well that the person can do nothing about it.
