    Boring! Exciting!

Dr Andy made an interesting (but echo of kenkannif, surprise surprise) remark earlier, saying that life in the UK is very very boring, and thus he considers life in Thailand to be more exciting.

What is it that makes life in Thailand exciting for you?

I wouldn't describe my time in Thailand as exciting, but as sometimes interesting and usually different, and often tedious & frustrating....

Seeing and living a different way of life in a different place to the norm is something everyone should try in their life, and there is no excuse for anyone who has the opportunity not to spend some of their life doing just that.

I just want a list of the things that excite people about Thailand, the reasons they are willing to leave their family and friends forever. I've never discovered such a magnetic effect, so I'm curious.

There isn't. This place is a dump. Those who stay here are either mad, or too poor to leave. Get out now, while you can - Grab your passport, and jump on the next plane back to Bournemouth! Do not come back, and consider yourself lucky for not getting stuck here.

Pray for those of us who are left behind!

    Good morning Smeg.
I see things haven't changed much here for you have they? Although I have noticed no-one's called you a cnut yet!

I think Bangkok's dead boring and if it wasn't for the pussy (and work!) I'd prolly move somewhere else in Thailand.
I dread my days off because I've done everything there is to do and I fucking hate the traffic.
I think I'd be in BangersPhil's team and say that England would have a shitload more to do than Thailand it's just more expensive and the bird's are 'orrible!

Having said all that, I find Bangkok an enjoyable city to live in. That's have a home and work and commute and eat etc. The mundane day to day stuff.
It's kind of pleasant in a grubby, fucked-up pavement sort of fashion.

Oh, and did I mention the girls?

^ you rate as the most stupid member of this forum. That is around 4 times in 24 hours that you have misrepresented what I say. In this instance, I said that Thailand contains many whores, yes, its a fact, but not all the women are whores.

    Get it yet thick boy?

Actually that not a bad post. I would'nt describe my life here as any more exciting, but it is different and often interesting and as you say sometimes frustrating and tedious. Saying all that though I do enjoy my lifestyle here much more than back home, although I would'nt want to live in BKK
I have more than the average number of arm and legs

I actually think it's the ideal profession.
Pays well, hours are good and, if you like sex, you've gotta be happy.

The stigma of prostitution will eventually be eroded and it will be an acceptable line of work in the future.
    Look at porn!
Over 50% of internet traffic is porn (well done MtD).
Porn stars are now the equal of mainstream movie stars in popularity.
People aspire to be in porn movies.
Sex is the biggest industry in all its forms and it's inevitable that something that makes so much money will be readily welcomed into our increasingly greedy societies.

You got to move with the times!

Its a very short career, and from what I can see it causes serious mental scaring.

Pooly, would you sleep with different fat 50 year old African tourist women every night for a couple of thousand Baht?
