Girls, 12, sell sex

GIRLS of 12 are having sex with aid workers for money or food in Liberia, a charity said yesterday.

Save the Children’s report said girls are also selling their bodies to peace-keeping soldiers.

The Liberia Study On Exploitation Of Children found: "Men can have sex with young girls for very little, sometimes nothing.”

Save the Children chief exec Jasmine Whitbread said: "This can't continue. It must be tackled.”

And we thought it was bad in Thailand, it seems that all these nice helpful people aint really that nice and do this stuff for ulterior motives, bit like Priests I suppose and their choir boys.

yes, I saw that news

it seems like it has been going on for years, and was exposed at least four years ago

not much has changed though, as the people in charge are almost all involved

as the woman said "almost all males seem to be taking advantage of the situation"

It seems that for centuries, probably millenia, there have always been an abundence of males willing (or perhaps craving?) to stick their dicks into pre- (or at least barely) pubescent girls.

Hell, in so many cultures/nations it is barely regarded as a vice...

The one place you very rarely hear about such things is western nations (Catholic priests notwithstanding).

So it seems they have to leave their countries to satisfy such perversions, winding up in places like Liberia, Cambodia, and I suppose Thailand.

That has always cast a dark shadow on my thoughts about life in Thailand. If such behaviour is that of "almost all males" in Liberia, how many males does such behaviour apply to here?

Unfortunately, I suspect anyone who knows 10 farang males living here is almost certain to unknowingly share the the company of a few already...

And of course, the whole situation becomes somewhat clouded, in that everyone (myself included) screams indignation.

Again unfortunately, there surely have to be some hypocrites amongst us, don't there?

When I first moved here I had hundreds of Thai males offering me young gals, I honestely believed this was for adoption and told them I hated kids, it took about a year for me to realise that they were offering these gals for sex, I really didn't realise that these gals they were offering me were for sex, now I would like to go back in time with the "goodbye goodbye" wish and get rid of all the dirty cnuts.

I might well be very surprised that it was "Davo" specifically...after all, he seemed such a decent guy.

But unfortunately, I cannot be surprised that someone amongst those 50 or 60 was...

as was said, a lot of charity workers are in it for those special circumstances which give them a chance to exploit young people

a bit like some priests and teachers

UN diplomats and UN peace keeping forces have been getting away with this for years and they are immune from prosecution by the host nation too. It got so bad in Africa the UN finally passed a resolution to allow for the possibility of legal action if the home nation agrees to revoke the accused members immunity. How often is a home nation likely to do it? How often will the UN push for prosecution which could ruin its reputation? Not likely methinks.

On Ajarn, last year some time, there was a debate raging about this very thing. (young girls).

I was flabbergasted at the amount of posters who thought that if a girl had secondary sexual characteristics (pubic hair and breasts) (age was irrelevant) and had menstruated, there was no reason for her not to be fair game to men of any age.

These people did not consider themselves paedophiles in any way and firmly believed that all men were attracted to young, young girls.

It also must be said that some western girls menstruate at nine and ten years old.

irrelevant !

the UN charter on the rights of children has decleared otherwise.

16 is the absolute minimum any country can impose - lower than that is child abuse!

(although many countries obviously have it higher then this - and so they shoudl IMHO)

That was my point to the men who thought that menstruating girls were old enough.

A ten year old is very much a child, no matter what her body is doing.

In fairness to Ajarn, it is really only one or two posters who will put such views into words on that forum. (Although f*ck knows how many keep such thoughts to themselves

And I suspect most of it is whipped up the one poster (also known for his holocaust denial opinions) who I am pretty much convinced does so solely to create controversy...

I am firmly convinced he believes his own fabrications and judgements.

But, it was more than just he, who held the opinion about very young girls.

Admittedly some qualified it with an age, like 14 or 15, but I was still very surprised at the number of men who thought that it was ok.

I certainly don't believe in kids having sex, but I think you'll find that many animals breed before they reach maturity, which is quite normal, and for thousands of years humans probably did the same. If it wasn't supposed to be, kids wouldn't produce sperm or menstruate until they were fully developed. Its only the modern day complexes of society and law that have made such things to be perverted (rightly so, but a recent phenomina).

If you cast aside moral, social and legal constraints for a moment.
14/15 year old males fancy 14/15 year old females and would really like to get into their knickers, this by most people would be considerd normal and not that shocking and it's not even illegal (at least I dont think so, correct me if I'm wrong).

Say the male becomes 18/19 years old, well a lot of people might raise the odd eyebrow but still not really be concerned.

Now say the male becomes 30 or 40, now most people would think that is wrong, but what has really changed the female is still 14/15, it's just the age of the bloke that has altered and socitys perception.

The laws are there to protect the inocent, but it's just an arbitory age as there is probably no beter way of doing it. Personaly I dont think it's that abnormal to be attracted to youth (as opposed to children) It's how people handle that attraction thats the issue.

I just used the 14/15 age group as it's probaly when most young people start to notice the opposite sex and start to become sexualy avtive.

I think that's a BIG BIG statement to make without evidence DrA.
I don't believe that it's that easy to get some of these jobs.

"What are your qualifications"

"Erm, I loke young girls!"

"Hmm, seems you're just the man for the job. Do you like black ones or eastern euro types?"

A lot of the recent UN'ers busted recently for 'sex crimes' weren't 'western' either so perhaps it's not best to be casting a judgemental eye around the staffroom.

These stories are often overplayed for western ears. There is more likely a lot more old hags getting shagged for a bottle of beer than 8 yr olds.
