i haven't washed my hair in about 10 years.

You have a job that allows you to take 3 days off a week. And with this free time you chose to fret about your hair?

It largely depends on what your activities are.

If I have worked in the factory then I do wash my hair in the evening.

If I stay indoors at home I normally wash my hair every 3 days.

It is not good to wash your hair everyday as all the natural oils that your hair needs gets washed away. Then again I don't have an overly oily scalp.

It's a serious question. My scalp does feel more itchy, though.

Be careful some shampoos such as Pantene have been linked to hair loss due to the chemicals in them blocking up the hair follicles.

If it don't get dirty why the fuck wash it, I know this guy that had hair loss problem for years and was losing his hair, but he saved it,, yep put in a pillow case and kept it in his closet, now he would have been in a hell of a shape to have washed that shit everyday wouldn't he.
I also think it is hard on hair to wash it everyday, I agree with LT, if it don't get dirty, don't wash it and never wash it every day, even if you doing something dirty, wear a foking hat, but do not wash everyday.
Pobly reason it gets tchy is it is so foking dry, to much soap,

Once a week, if it's dirty or not.

I have all my hair. I have washed it every morning of my life. If I dont I look like Keith Richards. If I have no shampoo I use soap. Never have used a cream rinse.

closest it gets to being washed is when I stand under the shower but haven't touched it with any soapy products in a decade and it's a very clean head of hair.

Yes I believe that is true.
When you first stop using shampoo you will get oily hair and feel itchy but after six weeks it adjusts and stops producing as much oil.

Yeah, Tex. I actually shaved my head a couple of times in the mid-90s and I liked it.

Now I am thinning a little on the front-right side. Not much thinning but enough to not shave head because the thinning is uneven. I suppose that now, my hair is quite short. Perhaps 1.5 inches long.

For the thinning I'm taking finesteride still.
