empty toll roads, no traffic jam on main roads, some Thai schools closed, almost feel like Songkran,
did I miss something ? is there something going on ? no tanks on the street yet ?

It is always quiet when the schools are out

sssshhhhh...dun tell anyone, the country is having a rest before the next round.
I think there is something coming, just can't tell what
locals are staying home, not good news, or are they all at the PAD party ?
might be a good night to go out....take a camera
It's not beer o'clock yet. It should liven up in a couple of hours.
Ramadan?
The lull before the storm perhaps.
better hunker down. Stay away from 7-11.
Marmers, I thought it was always "beer o'clock"
what time is beer o'clock?
Under that state of emergency decree Thais are not supposed to be in groups over 5 from what I have heard.
damn, there goes that orgy planned for the weekend
^ as if u had one planned.
I hope the girls wouldn't desert the bars tonight,
It is now BEER O'CLOCK !!!!
^ a bit early, isn't it ?
^ I suppose you're the 10 O'clock guy. When your fav ladyboy walks into Cascade that you previously spoke about with joy.
Last time I was in a go go bar, they had trouble staying awake working three 30 minute shifts. Christ, with only five, they won't be able to even move after an hour. Hardly sounds worth the visit. Supply and demand will drive up bar fines beyond a reasonable level.Quote:

I think some of the locals in my area have definitely been watching their bahts more the last few weeks since things started getting messy. The beginning of August I had decent numbers of local walk-ins and that has dropped drastically in the last 2 weeks. Luckily the farangs aren't scared :)
Have you considered a "Timba's supports the PAD" banner?
I don't know if I want any "red shirt" protests here just yet.
I thought you'd given up on beer...Quote:
