Think I'll pass just as I do in going above the first floor of a Pattaya condo.

Well actually it looks kind of sturdy, but kind of scary too. I'd be holding onto those chains very tightly.

There are a lot of pics of this. There is a restaurant at the top. Makes me cringe just looking at these photos.

Not for me. But good on those that do this.

In 1995 I was working with the PICC ( Peoples Insurance Company of China) sorting out a messy claim for them - perfectly legit claim but they had presented incorrectly to their re-insurers.
As a "reward" for the 24hr shifts the team I was working with to get the claim in before the time "cut-off", the company set up a trip to Mt. Huashan .
There were about 15 of us.
I had no Idea what was involved until we got there !!!
When it was explained at the pre hike briefing I s*it myself !!
I cant even climb a bloody ladder without suffering from Vertigo.
I cried off - citing age - arthritis(genuine) and size -and OK OK OK Im a fat bastard! !
This was greeted by sighs of relief ( disguised as disappointment) by the others
I was installed in a nice little Chinese coffee shop where the old boy who ran it spoke some English ( turned out he was some sort of Liasion man between the Americans and Mao Zedongs mob during the Tokyo raids by US bombers from an aircraft carrier during WW II ) and with my embryonic Mandarin and his broken English had a lovely interesting time !! Got a bit legless on some sort of spirit made from millet and had a constant supply of nice - but unidentifyable - little snacks!
When the kids ( eldest was about 25) returned they were knackered!
I was told "sotto voche" by one of the girls that the team leader literally froze on what I assume was that bit on the planks - and literally shit himself before he could go on !!! ( what a loss of face - megga !!!)

I felt my bowels quiver just lookin at the pictures on that link !!!

Can you imagine that sort of thing being considered in the "nanny state " that we call UK
