Revolution going on, Thais still paltry

Still have a gaggle of coppers in front of a local school clipping notes from Thai boys on motorcycles.

Laundry woman walks to my house, four blocks away, and reminds me I sill have two of her hangers. I told her I needed them and gave her 2B. She was happy.

One Thai woman office staffer still wearing black to work every day. Bitch, get over it!

Next door neighbor complains my cat slept in his carport last night.

Been woken up the past few mornings at 6.20-6.30 by the electric sawing next door...mrs didn't seem to mind but she's a villager and villagers don't really notice things that grate...long story short and she dived into the safety of the shower when I said it's time to start pumping water over the wall.

Two of 'em wearing balaclavas so all I could see was their shifty eyes, one with ear muffs happily sawing away while the other watched and prepared the next of whatever needed to be sawn...gave a shout, watcher backs off and pokes sawer, sawer looks my way, sees the seething farang head with hand holding a bucket of water perched on the wall, switches off and asks me what's the plobrem...nothing, I said, but switch on again before 8 and this lots coming over with plenty more in the pipe...off they run to complain to mamasan (who hired them) that the nasty farang isn't happy, back home, no blood spilled, sawing started again in tune with the national anthem, and let's hope they figure out what time not to start tomollow.

Send the PAD out here when they've finished with Bkk.

Same as in the US, where I'm from.

I just block it out and try to exist.

Kids are great in times of trouble, playing hop-a-diddy-doo in bomb craters, hide-seek in razed buildings, Simon Says in demolished classrooms.

Thai ingenuity...this morning they started sawing at 7.30 - but at the other side of the shop/house so it came through barely audible and I only realised it when mrs pointed it out...few minutes after the anthem (now) and they're 'legit', on this side of the house.
