I can only speak for myself but it's because he presumed to speak for me. The fact he constantly relies on gross generalisations doesn't help either.

Another tick for the 'pro' column. Plastic surgery's a lot cheaper here.

In effect, it is a shortcut to becoming upper-middle class.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be upper-middle class, but it's the shortcut that causes the problem IMO. Because this shortcut involves relocating to a very different country, where the average adult has received perhaps the same level of education as the average 11 year old back home and earns 10% of the average back home. The question then becomes one of whether you like being surrounded by millions of poor and poorly educated people. For me, it is a situation that is more tedious than rewarding, but perhaps I'm in the minority on this forum. However, it is a very unusual thing to do, so I think I'm generally in the vast majority.
Look at the entire world, and focus less on LOS, exclusively.

There are disadavantages and advantages. For me, the advantages are far greater than the disadvantages and negatives.

And look at another related issue: medical care.

If I need a heart operation, I'll do it in LOS, instead of losing my life's savings by having it done in the US.

What a sad stalking shit-stirring vindictive old bitch you are.

A friend requires such a person, and one based locally would be more convenient. Nothing more to it than that.
