Terry Wogan gives money to terrorists!

    Send him to Gitmo!

    7/7 killers' BBC 'gift'

THOUSANDS of pounds from BBC’s Children In Need was used by the London bombers to pay for propaganda videos, it was claimed last night.

The fund gave £20,000 to the Leeds Community School charity.

It shared premises in Beeston, West Yorks, with the Iqra bookshop where 7/7 bombers Mohammed Siddique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer worked — and passed on some of the cash, an ex-worker told BBC2’s Newsnight.

Children In Need boss David Ramsden said he was “incredibly concerned” about the donations in 1998 and 1999.

That was all understood and intentional. It was a multicultural outpouring of love, harmony and generosity. Certainly are an understanding and sympathetic lot, those folks. What would the Iqra bookstore be able to buy with their share of 20K?

A few kilos of ammonium nitrate? Some killer (pardon the pun) backpacks? Some hip new trainers?

If that's the case, next we'll hear from the usual quarters there's no proven link between the Beeb's generosity and any of the money actually used to finance 7/7.

If I were investigating this, high on the list would be to check out which of the CiN decisionmakers gave the nod for that donation.

Terry probably thought it was another tax dodge.
