LONDON (Reuters) - A paedophile who acted as a "librarian" for a global Internet child abuse ring was jailed on Monday after one of the biggest undercover police investigations into online abuse.

Unemployed Philip Thompson, 27, amassed nearly a quarter of a million indecent pictures of children, including thousands in the two most serious categories.
He was jailed for a minimum of 45 months after pleading guilty to 27 child abuse charges at Teesside Crown Court in Middlesbrough.

Maybe there should be a system in place where if they have over a certain amount of photo's the senetence is relative to the amount
ie up to 50 photo's X years and for every photo over X amount of days per photo. He'd be well fucked and should be glad I cant set laws and tariffs.

He should have got 45 years! I wish that the west would impose more ridiculas sentances like Thailand does.

I was once wrongly arrested by the police here for abh!(actual bodily harm) After 5 hours of interigation they had to let me go because they caught the real guy! That's a scarey fuckin experience where no one speaks english and they said to me that I was go gonna spend 12 weeks in a thai jail and then get deported! I've since been pratating my thai.
