I've had frozen massaman curry at S & P as well. the staff acted as if I had just requested that I fondle their grandmother when I told them.
How do the staff normaly react when you request to fondle their grandmother?Originally Posted by DJ Pat

Never heard of S&P.
Sizzler's in Thailand isn't half the restaurant as those in the US. I've been to the one in Udon Thani twice and it was laughable. Somebody needs to explain what a steak is.
I did have a fairly ok-ish salmon steak and glass noodle salad at the Samsen Road branch of S & P.
I expected something really shit but was quite surprised.
Then indeed you must have been shocked that this was the reaction to telling them your massaman curry was frozen.Originally Posted by DJ Pat

IMO Sizzler's ok, but bland, yes.
Works if all you want is a piece of minced beef with mash and veggies, or deep fried fish with tartare sauce. I'll feel like something bland every four months or so, and then I'm cured. It's one of those places where you always leave full but not really satisfied.
Mayhap because it never occurred to me to ask the staff to fondle a grandmother?
Freedom does not chew bubblegum
S&P is not worthy of comment. I think they live off cake sales to DD's girlfriend.
Scampy , if you had read Chitowns thread about going to Muangtong for the furniture exhibition you would have seen his pic of a nice steak sandwich that cost him 80 baht .
We were discussing 13 Coins. Do try to keep up, there's a good chap.Originally Posted by wilder

McD is the only place worth it here,
^ Chains? Sticks and stones may break my bones, but whips and chains excite me.
^^ McDonalds is shit too, at least Burger King do a decent double bacon cheese burger.
Fujis is always nice. Pizza Hut in house is ok too, as long as you stick to pizza and don't try any of their other foods.

^ Not ketchup, plenty of oregano though.
Brought up on Pizza Hut brand so kind of used to it. Admittedly it's better when you are hungover.
Best pizza I have had recently as been at a bar near ABAC, so I go there for my cheese and pepperoni fix these days.
I like Fujis, love the gyoza and spicy tuna salad, and there's some good deals on the sets. Shame they got rid of the smiley potatoes though.

I am currently working as a driver in Scotland and have the luxury of world class cuisine for next to nothing anywhere I look.
I mean, you have the choice of sandwiches, pies, or sandwiches. Today I felt adventurous and opted for cheese burger, chips and a coke out of Harry Ramsdens. Disgusting, bad for you and a snip at only 5.50 (GB Pounds) which is not far of what I earn in an hour, unfortunately .
Seriously though - Thai food is something I yearn for and it would be a privilege to be able to eat it every day.
You can stick yer 3 quid + sandwiches and yer pies & chips where the monkey stuck his nuts..
i'm sure if you wrote them a letter they will refund you your one pound fifty!
I've just had a Macy d's breaky feel quite bad coz its my second in two weeks. Normally I wouldn't go anywhere near the place but there's something about the breakfasts. They kick the shit out of your merkin style brekkie which sems to be the norm in Thailand. Do americans really eat that crap in thier own country?
