When did you first come to Thailand?

The first time I came here was in the late 80s, I got off that poxy plane and the heat hit me, the only reason I was here was to ship stuff over to the Uk, i really did not want to come to some poxy third world country, I had planned to spend december in California and january in Florida, but oh no, the company knew better, dog they said, you got to go to Thailand and sort out this shipment, ok they paid for it all, yep the whole 2 weeks, the limo was waiting for me and was quite nice, then we start heading out of bkk towards Pattaya where my first week was gonna be. row upon row of foking lorry and car engine shops and crappy old buildings, it was a foking dump, i spent the taxi journey wondering if i could get all this sorted in 3 days then head off to the states, yep first impressions count, the place is still a foking dump, the hotel gave me a nice bungalow with a living room etc, it had 2 swimming pools and was quite civilized, they even had edible food which was quite a suprise.

my first nite out coming soon:

well 4pm I get to the hotel and have a nice bath, 5.30pm i'm ready to see whats outside, I had to meet some guy at 7pm at one of the bars outside, so I get there a bit early, it turns out it's an open air bar with whores working in there, I wondered to myself whether he knew this, don't worry the dog catches on quick and i knew to warn him when he got there, unfortuneately I missed this appointment as I felt that one of the gals could benifit with some english lessons in my bungalow....

end of june 2003. Got off the plane and thought ahh its fukin hot hot. Naive(sp?) as I was, walking through don muang I took up one of those taxi>hotel offers. Got introduced to the Bkk traffic, crashed on the bed for an hour. After a shit shower n shave I went down into the hotel resteraunt for some food, The amount of flies in this resteraunt were uncountable...I thought nothing of it, took it as a normal thing! Had the food, had the shits went out in the night & met up with some chicky's & loved the place!

been there every year since & planning a move for early oct =) wo0t!

I met my husband overseas and came to Thailand to visit his family in October 1993

the first evening I looked across Bangkok from the window of a 5-star hotel and shuddered cos it was the ugliest fucking city I had ever seen

'don't ever, ever ask me to live here,' I said to him

    *raises eyebrow*

    hmmmm...

I first had a 2 day stopover in 1999 and came back for a week in early 2002.

I was in a massage parlour within 1.5 hours of exiting the airport.
Moved my digs to the Park Inn opposite the 'BierGarten' on Soi 7 and had a most wonderful week.

Was living here within 3 months.

October 2003 I think. The first thing that happened to me when I walked out of my hotel was I was jumped on and grabbed by about 10 girls from the bar next door.

Thought they must think I'm a sexy beast.

But I'm obviously not coz its never happened since

It took me a couple of days to get used to it getting hotter when I walk out of a building instead of colder. I've had the same problem each time I've been since.

We went down to Pattaya the second week I was there, still have some of the photos of me & the TG I took with me. In those days the buses from BKK used to drop off along the beach road & it wasn't nearly as developed. I was getting just under 35 Baht to the pound back then.

    1997.

Just had a week in Singapore where my brother-in-law had been based for 15 years...he knew his way around and had heaps of contacts so a week there was excellent (wouldn't bother going back now he has left there, tho')...

Came to bangkok...stayed at Amari Watergate...luxury for AUD 84 a night...overlooking a festering slum next to that klong near Petchburi Road...and the rest of the hideous skyline that is Bangkok.

Went for a 20 minute walk soon after checking in...almost friggin' died from the heat and I had real troubles just breathing. My white t-shirt was almost black by the time I got back to the hotel...just from fumes and shit in the air...

Closest I think I have ever been to "culture shock"...we decided we would stay in the hotel for the four days we had prepaid then get the hell out of this shithole.

Anyway...boredom got me out of the hotel to have a decent look around...started to like the place more...a four day side trip to Chiang Mai sealed it.

Came back in 1998 and 2000 (to get married) then 2003 for a look around pending a decision to move here...which I did November 2003.

It is still an ugly shithole and the once "quaint and friendly" Thais now shit me more often than not ...but I kind of love the place...there something about it you can't really explain to "those back home"...

Damn, where does me money go...?

DD, the guys I used to hang around with back in Sydney knew where to get ample pussy of any sort in much more pleasant surroundings than your average Thai knock shop...without the concerns of AIDs, getting rolling, getting a katoey, the girl closing her eyes the whole time, the girl covering herself with a towel during sex, the presence of a minder or getting arrested.

Sure...it costs a lot more than here, but that's all relative...they earn good wedge too...

So I hardly think the prospect of third word pussy for a lazy twenty is going to get them jumping on an airplane...
    :?

This is one of their favourites...

    http://www.thepenthouse.com.au/content/index_nf.html

    Oooh! Look! Even Thais!

    http://www.thepenthouse.com.au/conte...dies.pl?id=923

This may come as a surprise to you, DD...but there are actually places other than Thailand where the services of a delightful young lady can be had for a price...
