Tyson should have been kept on a leash and in a cage, then let out only to fight.
He was a danger to himself and others around him, well thats what the courts said anyway. I think he might have mellowed a bit these days now he is broke and his testosterone levels have dropped a bit with age. The poor guy has a brain the size of a pea, which didn't help his post boxing career much either. Just a washed up modern day gladiator now that no one wants.

I don't know about wife beating or which inner city losers are tougher, Scottish or American. BUT, getting back to Tyson's place in world heavyweight history, I think he had the greatest knockout punch of any heavyweight in history and was truly awesome.

But, he's not the greatest ever. Rocky Marciano and Muhammed Ali (Cassius Clay) own that war.

*Ok, I'll edit this to include Joe Louis, as the real debate is among those 3 as to the greatest all time heavyweights.

But, hey...one thing I do know is that Michael Phelps is the greatest Olympian of all time.

Mike Tyson was a product of Don King and what the heavy weight division needed and at the time. Controversy and to sell TV air time and put bums on Madison Square GArden seats again. Look who was in the heavy weight division and at the time and ask yourself if you can remember any of the chumps he beat up. I can't.

I even feel a far pysically smaller boxer like Roy Jones Jr in his prime could of made him look like a fool in the ring. Hollyfield who was an average boxer at best (but with a huge heart) done him over to the point he tried to bite his ear off.

Mike Tyson, a product of Hollywood and one of Kings show ponies (for a while). Not a real pugilists more a one punch drunk wonder.

Seriously, even Mark Spitz, the greatest Olympic athlete before Phelps, is in his late 50s now. And...he's bitter. He's not happy Phelps has kicked his ass.

Most number of medals and greatest Olympian ever do not equate.

Ask Michael Johnson what he thinks of poncing about in water.

Bring on the real athletes, heptathlon, decathlon, middle distance, long distance runners.

    shuttup Ivor

    back to the topic

I agree that Phelps is a great swimmer, but in the Olympics there are a large number of events a swimmer can compete in to get a medal; hence the fact that swimmers tend to get a lot of them when they are good

so the number of medals, though impressive, does not make Phelps the greatest Olympian

damn, that was not the topic either

so, Mike Tyson, built like a brick shithouse and very amazing to watch
    I have reported your post

I agree Mike Tyson had the greatest knockout punch I've ever seen. Bar none.
He had a head like an anvil and fists like buckets of cement.

Quite possibly one of the worst role models and one of the stupidest humans alive.

    But a wicked knockout punch.

More funny stuff. I wonder what he had for lunch the day he snacked on Evander Hollyfield?

Mike Tyson in his younger days was a world class brawler/fighter.

By the time he fought Evander Hollyfield his head was already fucked (by Robin Givens)sp??

The brute force of the c*nt could not be matched by any other boxer in the world, someone mentioned Roy Jones Jr earlier??? no comparison, Jones was a boxer where as Tyson was a knock out king, Jones was full of flair and a joy to watch but a 19-25 year old Mike Tyson would have taken a few shots before unleashing a devastating blow to the jaw to send Jones to the canvas.

His statement is not smart and not true.

If Scotland wasn't involved, the western world would still have managed to build a modern civilization.

I could probably have Mike Tyson... Maybe not when he was in his prime but if it was now I would just bite out his adams apple and finger his eyes.

Mike Tyson...The best eva? I never knew he took female leads in musicals. The best Eva was Elaine Paige.
