    Well done rigger...by the way curious on the name where you a rigger at one point in time? If so the crane type or the airframe type?

    Doh! forgot about them...I work with lots of crane riggers and I used to be an airframe rigger long time ago. Oil rigger is dude on the derrick that works the crane/hoist or the dude on the chain break?

    when working the desert is was common practice to pull up at the edge of the lease ( gas wells ) and leave your landcruiser running with the air cond going so you had a nice cool car to get into after you had finished what you had to do - so of course it was standard practice to pull up beside a friends car and switch the air cond off and set the heater on high ...
    another favourite was to make sure the hubs were locked and put the 4wd lever into low 4 and watch someone try and go somewhere - thinking his cruiser was broken cause he could barely do 30klms per hour in it.
