    Pommy Scum

    Boozing Brits fuel overseas arrests

BAD behaviour abroad, often fuelled by excessive drinking, has sent the number of Britons arrested overseas soaring, a report by the Foreign Office showed today.
In its annual report, British Behaviour Abroad, the Foreign Office said "many arrests" of Britons abroad were due to "behaviour caused by excessive drinking".
Arrests in Spain went up by a third (32 per cent) to 2032 - the highest number of any country - in the April 2006-March 2007 period reviewed.
The report found that on a proportional basis Britons were most likely to be arrested in Cyprus - home to British sovereign military bases.
The Daily Mail called it the "shame of binge drinking Brits abroad", in a front page headline.
"Drunken and loutish holidaymakers have sent Britain's reputation abroad plunging to new depths," the paper said.

pommy scum? coming from a poster who obviously apprieciates one of the greatest comedies ever. Written by pommy scum?

I remember in my restaurant some English customers of mine were watching a group of three lads acting like complete dickheads; fighting each other at the bar worrying my staff; drinking by 1 get 1 free O + V's like water spilling it all over the shop. We said to ourselves foking English embarrasing us other Brits. When I went over to calm them down I asked " where are you guys from?"

    "Austraila"

My customers couldn't believe it, true chavs they were, and Aussie.

^^ I agree; the Spanish cage in the chav Brits in resorts because they attract the worst over there on cheap deals. After the Bali bombings Thailand came on the map for the worst of the worst Aussies.

I only occasionly come across dickhead Brits (they are normally the numbskull proud to be English racist dumbwits); the most recent being one who couldn't tell the difference between Pakistanis and Indians, I nearly got a beating for sticking for one of my Punjab mates.

Soi 13 used to be my local in BKK. Used to be the best place when NaNa kicked out and the Thermae was still open at 6 am. That was years ago tho

I rarely leave my soi now and drink downstairs at the food court, made some good friends I wouldn't have otherwise. I only go to one other bar which is my local in Silom because I know I'll have a good banter with the same crowd and I'm always looked after by management.

Going out anywhere else such as Nana is headache and merely a routine with no suprises

Kind of sheds some light on Tuds favorite rant about Thailand being the most dangerous holiday destination for Brits.

Well seeing as Pakistanis and Indians are the same and many of both nationalities come from the Punjab, that's an easy mistake to make.
