For those you have settled here in Thailand , I am wondering if you have a plan "B" as a backup as to where you will go next if Paradise gets to stupid.
Will you return home to your country of origin ?
Or move to one of the bordering countries and start fresh over there?
I'd opt for the latter and would consider Vietnam.
Your assumption that Thailand is paradise, and not already stupid, is a bit threadbare.
If it weren't for the somtam, I'd already be gone.

On a serious note. Plan B is to have things in place to be able to walk away from Thailand. I too wonder how many expats actually have a plan B.

Plan B for me is any where bar the UK . That's one fcuked up place.
The thing is that the most likely crisis that a Farang is likely to face is not civil unrest but more like a medical, legal or financial emergency. When the shit really hits the fan, there's no place like home.
