How do you stop your leather jacket going mouldy in the tropics?
Hello everyone.
I have just pulled my trusty leather-jacket out of storage from my mum and dad's place, and you guessed it (well, if you read the title of the thread, you would know what i am talking about - unless you were a complete moron of course) it's mouldy. The leather has also gone dry and stiff in some places. It was put away for over 4 years. My mum said i should put vasaline on it, so i did. that's it, at the top right of the photo. And that's me enjoying an after work beer in my pool after work , giving the thumbs up as usual ...

Anyway teakdoorers. I have pulled my jacket out because it's a little chilly at night here rigt now, and i shall be using it. the thing is, it's going to get hot again soon, so my question is, how do i prevent this from happening again? is there a special way you can store leather jackets and such in the tropics that will stop them going mouldy?
