Strange day...

It started off with getting the water cut off... they just came and sliced away the secion of pipe with the meter in it all becuase SBF forgot to pay an 85 baht bill in time...

Had enough water in the tank to clean my bits before heading off to work though....Got to the airport, checked my bag in and went past passport control as far as a bar near the boarding gate... Then my boss phones up and tells me to turn around as the job was gonna be finished by the time I got there... Leaving it a bit late eh?.. I shouldn't have answered the phone and got a free paid holiday in Brazil... Managed to do an about turn and get my exit stamp 'cancelled' by immigration and retrieve my checked in bag....

Jumped in a shitty old metered taxi to get back home and the gadgee driver asks me for 300 baht for petrol as he was skint... Gave him it telling him that it's coming off the fare... then about an hour down the road he starts acting a bit strange... slowing down, speeding up weaving a bit between the lanes and hitting himself in the face... I had to point out a turn-off for Pattaya that he was going to miss and he said "Sorry... I been sleeping"... I bollocked him and tried to explain that he couldn't sleep when he was driving, the two things don't go together... Gave him another 5 minutes and he was back dropping off again at the wheel... I bollocked him again and made him pull over, swapped seats with him and drove the rest of the way back to Pattaya myself with him laid back and snoozing away in the passenger seat.... Crazy fucker.

The next day was better... they came and reconnected the water...

^ I should have charged him shouldn't I?... But coz I'm such a decent sort I paid him the full 1300 baht fare and extra for the toll roads (the only tip on top of that was telling him to go and get some sleep)..

Jizzy.. Taxi was one of those green and yellow ones... and it was the shittiest one I have been in... Speedo didn't work, seats were all torn up, gears were shit.. Surprised I managed to get myself home in it...

I could do with 6 weeks at sea again... been 3 months since last work.. Nice to do feck all though...

i've been in a taxi that kept puttin his head on the steering wheel and sleeping at red lights. doesnt make you feel safe!

and as for SBF and his 85 baht.... cheapskate!
