Thread: Old English Sheepdog Puppy

Friends have gone back to Oz and against my better judgemenet entrusted me with this little mate over summer.(I hope) Not my choice of dog for HK weather.

He is just over two months old and suffering terribly from the heat so I was wondering about clipping his coat at least on the belly so he won't get any skin things.I don't want him in the house all day in the aircon which he prefers.
Outside he barks his head off trying to get back inside annoying the Dobermans next door.

Any suggestions on how to keep him cool and comfortable?HK dog rescue friend suggested I give him a number 2 but seems a bit drastic.He also has to have a bath practically every day as he gets filthy dirty just from eating/drinking.

Canine Cooler Bed



If you shave him to a #2 he will get sunburn.

A shaded area with a fan blowing at it would be good.

I got lumped with the little devil so just want to know some info as google isn't much help.I have no experience with this breed I was hoping somebody had some advice,meantime he's off to the vet tomorrow for his shots so I will get some information.

Actually I don't know why people want this kind of breed in such a hot climate will try to PM Rain meantime anyone else with advice many thanks before the vet tomorrow.

Agree there Noodles,and a puppy is like a baby.Three months isn't so bad if I knew what to do with him.

otherwise take your chastisement for bothering good people for the advice they would take time out to give you.

It's on my mobile and don't have the software to transfer it pronto.The pic looks just like him and the question is credible thanks we are not all technology experts.Will post tomorrow after he's been to the vet.
