I saw him on TV a couple of times in the UK. He's an absolute wanking troll.
a sort of News of the Screws version on Boris Johnson.
    Total twat.
Even his "friends" think that and I know a couple of them.

I've not even done the thread yet & it's being polluted by trolls

I'm making an effort here, so get back to your poxy threads about Momo or Smeg or whoever it is you've got a hard-on for this week. This thread is for the likes of myself & Boon Mee. You don't see me banging on in a cooking thread that I don't like the food, do you?

    Show some respect.

If you don't like it - just fuck off & stop messing it up with stupid responses.

In fact, I'm going to do a new one because you've all fucked this one up.

    Hint:

When my next thread with Littlejohn in the title appears in the lounge, you're not intersted in it so don't bother clicking on it.

    1. Not troll
    2. Couldn't give a flying fuck about "Mom", or "Smeg" - who they?- or the rest of the self indulgent pricks who inhabit these forums. ( I have to say I thought this one was diffent, and by the way, it's bloody funny.) My complimests to the people who run it.
    3. A "Forum" surely means an arena open for debate. Not your own personal wank tub.

    No offence meant.

I couldn't give a shit about thread counts, DD. You know me better than that.

Jandajoy, you're right in what you say - I apologise.

I'm just trying to do this thread for a bit of fun, rather than a debate on Littlejohn, that's all.

I am slightly chuffed about being the author of the highest viewed thread on TD though

And more threads in member's famous threads than anyone else here

Yes, I know, Mach's repo one has more, but mine was a proper thread.

So it was all just a wind up? Hysterical

    Richard Littlejohn's Teakdoor Webchat

The incomparable Richard Littlejohn, the Daily Mail's brilliant and controversial columnist, joins Teakdoor for an exclusive webchat. See how the man who politicians fear most, who has the courage to write what you think, answers your questions.

AlexDelarge - Good Afternoon everyone & welcome to the chat. Richard is now here to answer your questions.

AlexDelarge - Hello Richard. How are you today?

Littlejohn - Very well thank you! Hi everybody, thanks for joining me this afternoon.

AlexDelarge - Excellent. Who’s got the first question?

Gerbil - There's been a lot of comment about apathy in UK politics, that there's not much between Labour and Conservative. Don't you think the media are to blame for this perception of not enough scope between the political parties?

Littlejohn - The broadcast media, maybe. Not the Daily Mail.

Jizzybloke - I'm in the process of emmigrating - or at least kicking the process off. Can you think of any reason why I should stay?

Littlejohn - Depends who old you are, JB. What depresses me is that so many young people no longer see a future in Britain.

Spin - Richard, why are the Government so keen on such high levels of immigration? I live in the South East and it's clear that the last thing we need are more people.

Littlejohn - After the Tories won their third victory in 1987, Labour decided it could no longer rely on the working class - so it set about importing a new one. There's a chapter on this - and emigration - in Littlejohn's Britain.

Daveboy - Richard. Did you see Channel Four's "The great global warming scam"? Has this been blown out of all proportion for the sake of "new taxes"?

Littlejohn - Partly, but it's also about control, bullying, punishment and showing us who's boss.

Marmite the Dog - Do you agree that lawyers are overpowerful in their influence in British politics? I'm thinking of their numbers in government and the way they seem to enact laws that serve only to drum up work for themselves, not look after the interests of the victim.

Littlejohn - YES. As Hal said to Dick in Shakespeare: First thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers.

Loombucket - Have you ever thought of running for the government? After all you make more sense than they do.

Littlejohn - Once, a long time a go, but I went away and lay down in a dark room until the urge passed.

Justwingit - Do you think the police will ever get back to sensible policing?

Littlejohn Not unless there's a sea change and we get directly-elected chief constables and get the politicians and lawyers and 'human rights' specialists off their back. Mind how you go!

Redneck - Richard, where do you see this country's future? With closer integration with Europe, or closer to the US or neither?

Littlejohn I think we have a future as a strong independent state with links to the whole world, but if I had to choose between the EU and the US, Uncle Sam would get my vote every time.

Melvbot - You're known as a straight-talker on a number of issues. Which is the one issue that really gets your goat?

    Littlejohn - Big government.

Sir Burr - Any chance of you hosting another TV show like the one you used to have on SKY? We need more of your acerbic wit and analysis of public life. How about something on the internet?

Littlejohn - You never know - I'm making a film for Channel 4 right now and talking to other TV companies about a possible new series.

Chitown - Why are we so futile in protesting about all these stupid people, in authority, blighting our lives?

Littlejohn The silent majority is just that - silent. That's why we're governed by noisy minorities.

Obsidian - Bank charges : Legitimate service charge, or more cream for the fat cats?

    Littlejohn - Miaaaooooww

Buad Hai - Where I live, politicians are united in their message: vote for anyone tomorrow, but not the BNP. Why are politicians so afraid of the BNP?

Littlejohn - It's not fear, it's because although many decent people are tempted to vote for the BNP because they think all the main parties are equally useless. Underneath the BNP leadership are the same bunch of racist, anti-semitic neanderthals they've always been.

Peterpan - How can we break the stranglehold of the BBC by your old friends the Guardianistas and get some reporting of the concerns of the majority of working, tax-paying people?

Littlejohn - Difficult, it's cultural - it won't stop until the BBC is broken up.

Friscofrankie - Do you believe that this country is producing well educated young people? From my own experience, I am finding an awful lot of the 'yoof' incapable of adding 2 and 2 together.

Littlejohn - FF, I think your experience is widespread. The State system seems to see schools as warehouses for children and factories for social engineering, rather than somewhere they go to expand their minds and actually learn to read, write and add up.

Jandajoy - Will you offset your carbon footprint everytime you go abroad?

Littlejohn - No. Actually, I'm thinking of buying a wood-burning Winnebago.

Astasinim - 85 per cent of the French electorate voted in the recent Presidential election, a fantastic turnout I'm sure you'd agree. How can we reach a similar level when, in your words, you'd only vote Tory while holding your nose?

Littlejohn - By offering people a real choice, like they have in France.

Sparky - How many of your predictions came true about the state of the country?

Littlejohn Sadly, far too many - and most of them were supposed to be a joke!

Fabians - Do you think trident should be based in England?

Littlejohn - If the Scots don't want it - and all the subsidy which goes with it - I don't see why not.

Dirty dog - Why don't you stand for Parliament? I'd vote for you!

Littlejohn - I take the Groucho Marx view, I wouldn't want to belong to a Parliament that would have me as a member.

Gallowspole - Do you think the BNP's share of the vote will increase in the future?

Littlejohn - Unless the main parties address the concerns of those people who feel they have nowhere else to turn other than the BNP, I fear it might.

Wallalai - In your heart are you a columnist or a novelist?

Littlejohn - I'm a newspaper man, that's the day job.

Jet Gorgon - How did you get started in journalism? Were you a grass roots reporter or did you step in at columnist level?

Littlejohn - I started delivering papers when I was 11 and got a job on a local weekly as a trainee reporter when I was 16.

Stroller - Hi Richard. I read all your columns and I think you're great! My question is: Do you ever feel a pang of pity for the public figures you lampoon in your columns?

Littlejohn - Not for the public figures, no. And if you read me regularly you'll know I rarely go after civilians!

Lady Hawk - How do you justify encouraging us not to vote?

Littlejohn - In a democracy, we all have the right not to vote, sometimes it's the best kind of protest and far better than voting for an outfit like the BNP.

Thai Pom - How long does it take you to write your column on average?

Littlejohn - The pompous answer is all my life. It's not the actual writing that I find the difficult part, it's coming up with something fresh, thought provoking and original twice a week.

White Shiva - Do you think we should come out of Europe?

Littlejohn - I certainly think we should come out of the European Union - or at the very least renegotiate our terms of membership to put Britain first.

Agent Smith - Is your column ever censored by the Daily Mail if they think you have gone too far?

    Littlejohn - No.

Scampy - I enjoyed your column in the Sun, and I was wondering why you ceased writing for it?

Littlejohn - It was time to move on - as they say at Westminster - I reached the stage where I felt the Daily Mail was a much more natural home for the column.

Bkkmadness - Do you think there is a better way to run this country than the current political party system that we have?

Littlejohn - I certainly think we need less Government at every level.

Mr Earl - You seem to thrive on getting people riled about things, getting up the nose of Guardianistas and Islington-ites. Does this ever get tiring? Do you ever want to live and let live?

Littlejohn - Somebody's got to do it!

DrAndy - Would you write for the Guardian for a million pounds?

Littlejohn - Somehow, I don't think I'll be getting that offer!

John Galt - Everybody hates me. Why do you think that is?

    Littlejohn - Because you’re a dick.

Mrsquirrel - What goals are left for you to achieve? You've had radio shows, television shows, written books, written columns in two of the top UK newspapers. Do you have any secret ambitions?

Littlejohn - To carry on doing what I'm doing - and keep getting away with it!

Texpat - I voted for Tony in 1997 -what penance should I do?

Littlejohn - You've done it already, and you're still doing it - we all are.

Rigger - Do you think we really have free speech in this country?

Littlejohn - In name only. One of Labour's biggest sins has been the curtailment of free speech.

Kingwilly - Richard, in your column you do seem to be full of negative thinking and you criticise others a lot. Is there anything about Britain you like?

Littlejohn - Of course, there's plenty about Britain I like, but what's good about this country has nothing to do with the people who run it.

Boon Mee - What is your opinion on President Bush?

Littlejohn - I had great hopes for him when he was elected but he's been derailed by 9/11 and what has happened subsequently, but I don't buy the smug European view of him as a moron. What I like about him is that he says what he means and he tends to do what he says.

NickA - You're the Mail's highest paid journalist - does this mean your column is the most important thing in the paper?

Littlejohn - I don't know that I am but the paper is bigger than any component part.

Hillbilly - If you had the desire to emigrate, where would you go?

Littlejohn - The USA, no question.

November Rain - Where's the 'voice' that speaks for the majority? It's not in any of the parties, is it?

Littlejohn - We like to think The Daily Mail speaks for the silent majority.

Begbie - They say 'king for a day, fool for a lifetime' - but if you were in charge for one day what would be your first policy?

Littlejohn - I'd abolish the Monarchy.

Eliminator - You are known to be "controversial". I love it - do you quite enjoy the label you have?

Littlejohn - I don't see that what I do is controversial. I think what I criticise and lampoon is controversial.

Raycarey - Do you think we should bring back the death penalty?

Littlejohn - I've thought long and hard about it... but no.

Bobbytits - What did you make of David Aaronovitch saying your novel was a 400-page recruiting pamphlet for the BNP?

Littlejohn - I thought it was pathetic, but then what do you expect from an overgrown Wolfie Smith character who was in the Communist party throughout the 1980s and now poses as a moderate. When the fascist left loose the argument they always resort to smears and abuse.

CMN - Richard, are you looking forward to getting your identity card? If not, is there anything we all can do to stop this?

Littlejohn - No, I'm not looking forward to it... and I think that if we shake ourselves out of our complacency and protest loudly enough we can still stop it.

Dalton - Do you fear being locked up for 'thought crimes' if things carry on as they are?

Littlejohn - Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!

Sharon - Do your kids ever argue with your opinions and have they ever won the fight?

    Littlejohn - Yes and yes!

AlexDelarge - Time for a few last questions now.

Black gang - Will we ever get rid of this elf 'n' safety/PC mentality?

Littlejohn See previous answer about killing all the lawyers!

Timber - Should asylum seekers/political refugees who committ an offence automatically be expelled?

    Littlejohn - Yes.

AlexDelarge - Thanks very much for joining us today Richard, we look forward to seeing you again. Thanks for joining us everyone.

Littlejohn - It's been my pleasure. Thanks to you all and let's do it again soon.

Remember to look out for Richard Littlejohn in the Daily Mail every Tuesday and Friday

Absolutely, and, if you missed it, he's a lot less use than an area of the female persuassion.

He's shit and the epitamy (spelling) of everything bad that the UKs become.

Obviously fake, MtD is not being sarcastic and Kingwilly has not got any grammatical or spelling errors!
