Australian National Sorry Day

Today is National Sorry Day and there are events going on all around the country. Being in Melbourne at the moment I would have enjoyed joining in and watching the apologies to the Aboriginals but unfortunately I am stuck in the house with a cold watching poor Australian imitations of British TV such as 'Ready, Steady, Cook'. No, it's not the same without Ainslie before you ask.

Since we have so many Australian posters here, it would be interesting how they are contributing to National Sorry Day, and what they are doing for the indigenous peoples as way of an apology.

Well since I cannot go to work due to the mob in Bangkok I'm just chilling out at home with Wayne Jnr. Just got him surfing Google images of aboriginal art etc. Might take him for a throw of a boomerang at Lumpini later in the day

What do you tell him about Australia and it's past abuses of the natives? Do they get taught at sschool the truth or is it watered down PC crap?

I'm not sorry I left Oz and came to live in Thailand before there was a National sorry day.

It seems we need more advertising to promote this national day of forgiveness so more people can participate.
