    What coffee do you drink?

I like a nice cup of coffee, but I'm not particular regarding brands. Choice in Thailand is pretty awful anyway. So what do you prefer?

I love the small cans of cold Nescafe latte that are 12 baht in 7-11. Well worth trying if you enjoy latte.

Iced coffee usually, but Thai coffee if I can find it as it is pretty good.

I avoid the milky crap at Starbucks as it is overpriced shit drunk by morons.

If I am out for the day, near one of those 'places' I will sometimes treat myself to a large capacino. When I am at home, I like Nescafe expresso roast. I had to cut down on my consumption of coffee recently, as it was the only thing keeping me going whilst filling my system with rubbish. I like my coffee strong and the cheaper stuff, especially in Thailand, just doesn't work for me.

i decided to stop being an english teacher when i realized (depressingly) that i was regarding a Starbucks as the equivalent of a lesson fee, and would typically drink the teachers room free coffee instead.

Currently on Nescafe Espresso Roast, it only just scrapes above that horrible Red Cup crap but when a decent jar is about £6-£8 sometimes you have to suffer.

Used to buy my coffee beans at Starbucks. Sumatra, or Sulawesi. It was 460 Bt a bag four years ago.
Then I ran out and couldn't be bothered to go all the way there.
I picked up some of that Douwe Egberts Blue Mountain at 99 Bt. Was pretty good, so, I stopped buying the Starbucks.
Now I just buy on price. About 125 Bt gets you a bag of that Boncafe, which is perfectly drinkable.

Starbuck's Sumatra blend - I buy it by the bag.

I have a buddy that is back and forth between Detroit and Bangkok 7 or 8 times a year and he brings me cans of Folgers.

Is there any place that sells Folgers in a can in Thailand?

That's how I bought it. Beans ground on the premises.
How much does it cost per bag now?

I get a nice blend made by a roaster in Surfers Qld.
They post me 3 kilo bags when I need them, freeze the beans when they get here and take out a weeks worth each time. Coffee beans & Post cost me about 100 dollars a kilo, everything else I have tried here is crap.

Some great roasts coming out of the hilltribe coffee companies. The choices are fantastic can even get green bean and roast your own here. Buying imported coffees is a fools game. Some of the best coffees available are local blends.
Great stuff. for daily drinking I buy Doi Duang, pre ground. They have three roasts in whole bean or ground. there are other brands available that are about twice the price, some are better, some are not.

I like to vary my choice. I buy the beans and grind them as needed.

Instant coffee drinkers need not reply to this thread.

However, if (as it appears), you're snorting the ingredients rather than the more traditional 'dissolving in boiling water', we'd be interested in more feedback.

At work we use a Jura coffee maker. It can hardly get better than that.

I vary between ordinary coffee, Cappuccino, Latte macchiato or Espresso.
