    Boy Bling

The way I see it, there are two kinds of men.

    Those who wear jewelry.

    And those who don't.

    So which are you?

(for purposes of argument, watches and wedding bands aren't considered jewelry)

And to be further contrarian, I've listed four options.

No ring, no wach, no jewellery.

Oh, just wait, does a cock ring count?

I'm too tight to even have bought myself a wedding ring yet.
Don't have a mobile telephone either cos I'm just so rock and roll.

Only a watch. Like CMn, it's not that I'm anti-jewlry, just too tight to buy it and no one has ever bought me any.

Come to think of it, I think my gold wedding ring from my failed [first] marriage is in the safe. Maybe I could put that back on and my [new] missus won't know where it came from

One of my wedding rings is sitting at the bottom of the Bosphorus somewhere between Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

See CMn, I much tighter than you. I would never have thrown away a good bit of gold. I might have the need to melt it down (or even wear it again) some day

yes, well, sorry about that. It was just that yesterday I was accused of stalking by one of our more profound members, whilst all I was doing was replying to several of his not insubstantial posts

so I thought I had better make it clear
    I have reported your post

Gold wedding ring and two-baht gold necklace with one of those chunky gold amulet holder thingies.
What's a cock stud? It sounds awful painful.

I have some jewelry and a couple of nice expensive watches, but as I spend most of my time dressed up looking like a tramp I never wear them, I do own a nice silk shirt and I did buy a pair of trousers for the bangkok teakdoor meeting, well long shorts actually, I though they were pretty snazzy, but my galfriend gave them to my son assuming that they were for him

I've never worn a watch in my life (Okay when they're given as gifts I throw it on for minute then somehow 'lose' it shortly there after so, maybe two months total time nah one in my 54 years)
only ring I ever wore, a cheap piece a shit my kids gave me 'bou 13.35 years ago. Wore it every day until last year when i had to remove it while workin' on an outdrive on the beach in fiji; never saw the fuckin' thing again. Still get bummed about it when I think about it.
So thanks, texpat, thanks a fuckin' lot. Think I'll go get drnk or somthin' now...

Or make a filling for that pesky cavity.
Funny, that's what I used to call my wife, too.

I can't wear any jewelry - I just feel like I'm carrying something useless around, like a bag of bent nails. I have this practical revulsion in that there is no purpose to it. Wedding/engagement ring excepted, what use is a bracelet or necklace - what message does it send?? I suppose one of those name bracelets may be useful if you ever forget what your name is.

My feelings are similar to those made by Torbek in that thread he started where he went on and on about hating wearing a tie.

I wear my grandfather's engagement ring (on my finger, not my knob) when I go somewhere special, but otherwise I don't wear jewellery.
