If there's one thing more dangerous than girls with guns then it's girls with testosterone.

I have never had any interest to chummy up to the police because they are, like most people obsessed with power - thick as shit.

The mafia are only really worth knowing if you have a business and would only help you if there was something in it for them so I have slowly been infiltrating the ladyboy fraternity here in Samui over the past month and they are indeed a force to be reckoned with and a mafia unto themselves.

The leader of the pack is Lisa, the most attractive and statuesque and the dominant male, which is where their un-natural power comes in as they have the power of tits and fanny combined with the strength and sex drive of a man... That doesn't go, even if the sqinky and spagglepods do.

Her gang all work at the caberet where she is the star and they tolerate my presence and my camcorder, following them around rehearsing, drinking, watching TV and chasing and beating up backpackers.

My life with the ladyboys is a fascanating one fraught with potential danger but it can also be rewarding.

Once the flirting and gropes have stopped - which they will if you resist all temptation, don't flirt back and under no circumstances get drunk and give into the seductive charm of the more attractive ones - you will be accepted by them as an aquaintance and possibly even earn a little respect.

This was the case with Lisa, and for a while I was seen as a hard-to-get or shy farang man and because she is very vain and full of herself (albeit in a charming way) I assume she assumed that I wanted to sleep with her but didn't have the guts to ask.

It was a nice surprise to get my camcorder back having left it at her home the other night before going home, and I showed my grattitude by buying her a bag of ice for the Coca Cola that was in her doo-yen.

A Swiss man called Biat pissed me off yesterday so I made a quick phone call this morning and when he goes out tonight to whore around the go-go bars he'll be in for a nasty surprise because Lisa and her mates are gonna beat him up.

Now I too admit there is not much to attact you to Samui. But Poolie if you were to have ever has seen a virgin Chewang Beach!! Damn it was a sight to see and the first time I was there not a bungalow one. Driving over the hill at sunrise and seeing the beach with the sun coming out of it. One of the top natural sights I have ever seen.

But is changed for the worse the very worse. Still there are nice people and a few nice places on Samui left. But the rest is so trashed now its not worth going back. Left my business there 20 years ago. Went back last summer. No plans to go back again.

Yes, in fact.

Chaweng - I absolutely hate this place. Loads of tourists, and the god damn taxi drivers belong in hell. They go up and down the strip, honking their bloody horns at every single fucking tourist, just in case we're too blind to see them. The beach is loaded with tourists, and God forbid you sit on a stretch of sand that's owned by a hotel that you're not staying in. Overpriced seafood. WAAAAYYY overpriced.

Lamai -- this place is a bit better, although you still have the annoying honking taxis. And the beach is miles better than Chaweng. I always stay here whenever I go to Samui.

There are also a few coves and hidden beaches between Chaweng and Samui that few people know about. They're usually pricey, but worth it to get away from the shit.

With the Pattaya one, how did you deal with the meat and 2 veg dangling there? Did it put you off?

You missed a nice THB10,000 earner there, plus the chance to kickstart a front-of-camera career.

I did, I kick myself for it every time I am skint but everytime I have cash I am thankful that I turned the offer down like a professional actor would.

I am filming 'Life Of Lisa' for ******* productions for hopefully Channel 4 - I just hope the katoey doesn't stop admiring and preening herself long enough to realize she could be entitled to 50% of what I make, if anything, but at least I'm the one with the camera calling trhe shots.

This place was my first introduction to driving in Thailand and I nearly wiped out three grinning girls on a moto-cy who cut the corner at some traffic lights to drive on the wrong side of the road.

Unless you've made an arrangement, then I don't think your latest subject is necessarily entitled to 50% of your earnings.

Just keep shooting as much footage as you can. You'll get some good material if you just keep the camera running, and let them get accustomed to it - then hopefully they'll let their guard down and have a fight or something.

alive video convertor, or just upload it to www.megaupload.com and post the link here, mega upload allow 250mb per upload so its pretty good, also www.yousendit.com is quite good. loads of options
