    Here's Sarge.

Here's his old home -- he was tethered with a lead attached under the right rear light of this junkheap.

    ^ Thanks kindly, Jizzer.
Well. New developments. The SPCA came by this morning. So I went out as the guy was not home and she was really ticked off at the provided "shelter" for Sarge, who was waiting back at my place. Interestingly enough, the jerk owner shows up five minutes into our chat. Wow. We are talking one angry man. Doesn't ask where his dog is, just starts screaming at the SPCA lady, who is politely explaining the basic necessities for keeping a dog. He just told lies upon lies, and said "he's a dog, this is good enough for him." Then he realised the dog was gone and starts saying my dog is missing. "Um, no, buddy, I sheltered him overnight." He says, "I'm calling the police. You stole my dog."
    Quite hilarious.
Anyway, I brought out Sarge, the SPCA gave jerk a ticket after more inspection and rules, and jerk drove off with the pup.
Somehow I get this feeling that the ramshackle house-owner where jerk keeps the dog (he came out -- don't these people work?) operates a grow-op or a meth lab. Jerk appeared high on something, but I'm not an expert on the effects of these drugs on folks.
Maybe that side of the road is a two-house drug op. Uh oh. Better call in the Hell's Angels from my cousin's neighbourhood. Just to kind of park in front of my place for a bit every few days.
    Poor Sarge

^ And a hot three days before two days of storm. Not allowed to tie up a dog on a three-foot lead and leave him to the elements in any climate with no friggin shelter. He was sleeping in his own poo for crikes sake.

That's quite the story, C. Eric is bound to live many more years with you.

Cat was hiding behind the neighbor car wheel, as usual, like every morning. The dumb driver didn't bother checking even though he knew, and crushed his little skull.

    Not pretty.

If you want another cat, how about rescuing one again, from a vet or your soi? If not, find people who have a cat and donate it to them.

Sell it to Blake 7. Tell him it is expensive French cuisine.

He can put it next to the THB 5000 plasma television.

If I was a cat I would take the sound of the engine and the vibrations and smell of exhaust as a cue to relocate pronto.

However, I am not - I am merely a human cat lover, and sad to hear this story. Same thing happened to my own a few years ago.
