    I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE‏From:Courtney Barrington (coutney_barringtonI love you Jesusyahoo.co.uk)Sent:Friday, 25 April 2008 6:45:58 AMReply-to:courtney_barringtonI love you Jesusyahoo.co.ukTo:
    Dear. Friend

I foresee your surprise upon receiving this letter from a total stranger. However be rest assured it comes with the best of intentions. Hence I have decided to involve you
personally and discreetly with this business proposal.

I am Dr. Bailey C Barrington, Director of Operations Wythenshawe Community Farm, Manchester London . During my tenure As Purchasing Manager, I used to go to Malaysia for the purchase of some veterinary injections for use in our animal farms in England . During this period I used to make some money for my self through over invoicing of the price of the product (that is, inflating the price more than what the product was actually been sold by the supplier).

Since my promotion, a new Purchasing Manager has been appointed. His presence and subsequent meetings with the supplier in Malaysia will not only deny me of the gains associated with the purchase of this product, but my job will also be at stake as there is a possibility that he will be offered the actual price of this product. I cannot even strike a deal with him as he belongs to a religious sect that makes him declare himself as been born again. Based on his beliefs, such act constitutes a sin. It is because of this that I am soliciting for your assistance. I have removed the contact details of this very supplier.

We are now in need of the injection and I have to give the new Purchasing Manager the contact information of the supplier in Malaysia . For this, I am proposing to you to stand as the supplier. I will give you the contact of the main supplier whom you will contact or

If you know anywhere else, you can get the product from. This transaction is on a cash and carry basis so you do not have to worry .After you have sold the product to my company, the profit we will split evenly between us.

Should this arrangement be acceptable to you, do contact me immediately as I am the one delaying his trip to Malaysia thereby buying time to conclude all necessary arrangements before his arrival. Please do contact me as soon as possible so that we can discuss more.

    Kind Regards
    Dr.Bailey C Barrington
    Director of Operations
(W.C.F) Or should that be WTF?

So why did you open a thread about it and why didn't you just pass it along to your friend?

Manchester is nowhere near London. The only link between the two is that people in London support Manchester United.

I was wondering about this as I always thought vets were docs.

    Wiki sez:

There are some inconsistencies concerning the titles awarded upon completion of veterinary studies. US graduates are awarded either a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or the less common Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree, the latter if they are a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

In Great Britainand Ireland, a qualified veterinary surgeon holds a Bachelor's Degree (BVSc).

In continental Europe and other regions adhering to the Bologna regulations of university education, the graduate is awarded a Master's Degree (MVM) that allows him/her to practice clinically. In these regions, the Doctorate (Dr. med. vet. or DVM) is a postgraduate title that requires the writing of an original scientific research dissertation. This can sometimes cause confusion when comparing the North American DVM title to the European DVM.
    Now I know.
