My First Bangkok Post

No, not the newspaper.

Not a particularly inspring thread either.

Just my first from my new apartment in Bangkok. Moved in today. Lopburi and secondary school teaching now just a memory...well, for the time being anyway.

Kind of nice sitting on a balcony sipping a beer and taking in the night skyline of Bangkok...well, compared to looking at the townhouse across the soi in Lopburi at least!

New job starts tomorrow so I suppose I better limit it to just the couple...

Bangkok is a much nicer place to live than it would have been 5 years ago, IMO. Lot's of new cafe's, restaurants, cinemas, etc, ..and the BTS and metro system make life in the city much more pleasant..

Why is that zippy?

I find it's much faster it do it here. And you exactly the same process.

Upload image to folder, open image, copy location, post image location.

I cannot stay in Bangkok more than about 5 hours, anymore.

The city has a lot to offer but it's the getting around to get things done, and the air.

Still better than most US cities, though.
