I don't visit Ajarn Forum much these days. I'd imagine they're buzzing.

    Recall every post I've made.

I wish Diaw/Watterinja the best and hope he returns someday as a quality poster. I'm sorry for his loss and if he is hurting, I long for his emotional and spiritual recovery. What more can I say? I was among the fist to express my condolences.

If you doubt my recollection about Diaw's hatred and ablosute disgust of all thing Issan, if you can't possibly believe what I'm saying is true, ask a few old timers MtD, CMN, ask Memock.

Living secret lives is not absolved by the death of a spouse, that you claimed to have divorced and pledged absolute hatred for for the past seven years while slamming their lifestyle, ethics and quality of life.

Simultaneously demeaning every man that resolves to move into the area, implying that their wives are nothing more than the whores and thieves that his money-grubbing EX-wife was...

The more I think, the more I remember, the less compassionate I become.

But one thing remains constant. I hope Diaw recovers and moves on. I think he's a good poster and has much to offer.

I dont doubt you're word, all I'm saying is that this matter should not be discussed without the OP pressent to explain his view..If I have a beef with somebody them why should I inform all other people except the one I have the problem with, just becaused he's out of town..Let the OP get back, then question his actions and previous statements...Wouldent you like to be pressent if people was questening some of the things you've posted ??

To all of you who have been asking about Watter and wondering how he is, I just got an email from him, and he's been overseas but will be returning to Thailand end of this week.

He asked me to tell you all the following:

Suffice it to say that I'm on the mend - in fact, somewhat beyond 'mend' - if I were to venture an introspective observation
Take care & please send my kind regards to everyone at Teakdoor. I'll be back on line when our internet connection finally makes it, upon our return.

I do not know the history of this. The guy may have disagreed with his wife and occasionally been angry with her and the life style of Thai people.
This does not mean that his love for her had died.
I love my wife to bits but that does not mean I agree with everything she does.
At the start of our marriage she did try to rip me off-I forgave but did not forget.
It never stopped me loving her.
They say love is blind. I agree.
In any mariage it takes time to overcome the obstacles of life and marriage outside our own culture is even harder
I have twenty years under my belt with the true love of my life----not always easy years but she whiped my arse for 6 months when I was too badly injured to do even that.
Anyone who could do that for me really has to be in love.
He may have bitched about his wife before---and maybe given the chance she would have bitched about him----But they still loved each other at the end of the day and his loss is tragic.
