Alternatives to teaching in Thailand, are there any?

Find yourself a piece of land, preferably a meadow or similar. Print up a several hundred leaflets & hand them round the local district, inviting them to pack as much tat into their pick-ups as they can find in their attics etc., drive it onto the land (provide a map), pitch camp & proceed to sell it. Charge each pick-up 200 baht or so, & charge each buyer 10 baht to get into the event. Don't let any food/ drink vendors in, as you can organise a few tressel tables & sell noodles, Pepsi etc. Thais love markets & the odd bargain.

I imagine it could look something like this.

Isn't there the option of selling your body to old rich Thai tarts that fancy a bit of farang meat?

Met a guy who did that mate and he showed me the photos on his camera phone. You would not want to bang them. In his words, they go out, get drunk and fluck. Said their bodies looked like shit so being drunk was not just an option but mandatory. He was on a day rate of 3,000 Baht.

Becoming a highly respected estate agent in Pattaya seems to be a popular alternative to teaching.

Sounds good (and fun) on paper...
But it assumes a few things:

*They have some tat in their attics thay haven't already sold.
*They have something bigger than a Honda Wave to transport it to the meadow.
*It didn't rain the night before and made a mosh pit of your flea market.
*The tat they're trying to sell is worth more than the 200 baht admission price.
*The second they realize a farang is making money off them, they'll get angry and do something stupid.

And when the police want to see your work permit, you hand over half your take to the brownies.

You can do almost anything if:

Someone will pay you to do it
It isn't on the "banned for foreigners" list
The employer can't find a thai with the skills to do it.
