Who the feck likes weather in the mid 30s all the time?

This weather is great, feels "normal" to me and a pleasure to be outside at midday, for a few hours, or for exercise, unlike the rest of the year.

I like to sit & have a cold beer, I had a friend from England who put his beer under the hot water tap.
May be I will try to see if this will help with the cold.

    Sissy poofs.
I remember rainy season and it was chilly. Nevertheless, I jumped in the cold shower twice a day in that season (in the am to wash my hair, in the pm, so fresh before bed). I think I used to tell myself "this is gonna be soooo invigorating." I refused to let any nelly wus farang near me who was too chicken to shower and smelled really bad.
I did have a hot power shower at one house, but that was after about five years of cold.
It's worse here. Hot shower, but frigidaire when you get out. And the water is so chlorinated it sucks all the moisture outta your skin.

Yeah, but I can't figure you people out - a water heater costs less than a night on the town. Are you really happy with cold showers?

Even at the height of the hot season I can't bring myself to have cold showers. Just doesn't feel right to me, don't feel as clean somehow.

And I must say I enjoy winters here in CM, cold/brisk mornings and evenings with warm days. Just about perfect. That being said I did sorta find myself wishing that my car had a heater this morning.

^ You never get really clean unless you soak in a bath or have a herbal steam, IMO. That's why I loved Laos (herbal steam was about Bt25), unlike Samui where the same thing was at least Bt1,000. Herbal steam at least once a week to get all the gunk out of your pores.
Those hot water heater things with the dinky shower heads are dismal.

None of that for me, I have a 'mains' hot-water system feed by two continuously heated tanks (one for upstairs, one for down). Hot-water on tap. Hahaha... err, oh ok nevermind.

Good water pressure too, so I just jump in the shower, turn the tap on, and blast myself with water at the highest temp I can handle.

^ Herbal steam (not a sauna) with 32 herbs boiling in water under the steam room. Then you get rocks and exfoliate the dead skin off. Go in and out about ten times. Heaven.

^ What about a normal non-herbal steam session. Will that be ok?

No. I have the option of using a steam room after playing squash, but I'm not a big fan of going into a fucking hot room after playing a sport in a fucking hot country. Seems a bit silly to me.

I'm enjoying the "cold". It never got this cold on Saipan, or this dry. It's a treat; especially on the morning run. Almost no sweat!

For the last few days the low temperature at my house has been 16C (60F) which is what it was when I got up this morning.

Refreshing. (But, it is indeed great to have a hot shower!)

its been a low of 12 deg here in Udon, bloody cold, went out last night for a bit of action but all the girls were wrapped up in coats, I didn't have the energy to unwrap them, so I went home.

My balls looked like the California Raisins last night, only smaller. Combine that with four straight nights of heavy drinking, and I'm losing my sex appeal. Dammit!
