Yes, take a week or so off, Walt. Stay away from the PC. Your health is what is important at the moment. Give your body time to recover. No undue stress, etc...

Here are the pics they gave me after they inserted the stent in my heart.

You can clearly see that the blockage was a goodun. I was lucky that I called them when I did coz they told me a blockage like that would easily have killed me had I not got it sorted immediately.

Here is the post op shot and you can clearly see the difference.

I have to say that I live about 6 minutes from Brisbanes main hospital which was no small factor in my survival. Had I been in Thailand, it is unlikely that I would be writing this now.

I am still sore as fok coz they been in there prodding about but I have untold pills to take to ease that until it settles.
I should really be in the hospital stilln but I just couldnt lay there any longer while this gal is missing. It is just a complete mystery as to where she is.
Just now I get tired really quickly and have to lie down often but I gather that will sort itself out as well.

btw.They charged me $32.50 just to watch television as well.

i just spent the last hour skyping the cap, erm skype is like the free internet telephone thingy not some perverse sex act young harry, anyway it seems that he is ok but gets tired easy, obviously i told him that i couldnt add him to the dead farangs thread if he died in australia, so he is gonna do his best on giving up the ciggies and steak and chips and try to live a bit longer, although obviously he aint got long to live cos hes old, so it maybe a nice idea if we start an orbituary thread and then maybe he could choose his own

Yes thanks dd but I do have Skype. But I don't think it's free though, not unless you don't have to pay for an internet connection/ phone line.

Anyway, it looks like the Cap. is well on the road to recovery.

To be honest I feel pretty lonely and scared but that is only coz I am a bit lonely and scared.
