^ Lady Hawk got one done by a monk? How? I was told that there was no way a monk would touch/tattoo a woman.
^
she didn't.
i was confused.
thought you just wanted a traditional tattoo with bamboo.
didn't realise you wanted incense and chanting and monks.
seems a bit excessive really.
they probably wouldn't let you drink alcohol either.
Got a new tat myself, just my teerak's name on lower left ankle. (not very creative I know) Only cost me 500bht.
^^ Depending on her breast-size, the monk might have thourght it was a boy..
^^^ No incense needed. I don't think. Let me check my notes....
So, it was a layman for her?
^^^ Ankle's a wee bit painful, isn't it Brit? Haven't seen you for ages. How're you?
Unfortunately I'm back at work.
Ankle wasn't too bad, but be honest my threshold to pain is well pretty high, so might be painful to others.
I hate to break this to you, but all that mumbo jumbo is a crock of shit.Originally Posted by November Rain

Well, I've had it done & I'm not sure about it. What I gave them was a crude, rustic line drawing (not done by me) & that's what I got. I imagined they'd stylise it a bit. I'll see how I feel when the 'scabbing' has gone & it starts to look how it will permanently. The good thing is that it's underdone, so I think I can get it looking better if I choose to. It also doesn't help that I was a little sunburnt & that's all you can see in the pics - bright red from sunburn & inflamation.
But, I promised you a pic, KW, so here's my favourite tatt on my left ankle.

I think it looks nice.
another advantage of bamboo.Originally Posted by November Rain

^^ October what?? What does the rest of it say?
^^ That one's a year old. You're not seeing the other one until I decide I like it.
^ It says 'Forever' on one side & 'da lodt gang' (in Thai) on the other. It's remembrance for my Dad, BF, & Grandfather
that's not an ankle.Originally Posted by November Rain

Read something recently that said MS-13 gang members and others from central America are moving away from tattooing themselves up because the police are finding it easy to catch them and kill them due to their tattoos. So new gang members aren't doing the ink. The days of secret handshakes are back! Yeah!
Link to MS-13 gang video with loads of tattoos...
It's amazing how far some people will go with tattoos.
Nice ankle, NR.
