The tatt on my other shoulder is in black ink, so I think I'll leave the new one that way too. They look better when they fade a bit when they have no colour, imo.

I've got a couple and they are adddictive. I have a mate in Burma who got a big fucker dragon around his torso done trationally with the tapping the neddle/ chisel. Looks allsume and there was no bleeding. I was interested but cost a furtune. Please excuse spelling, not to flash tonight

Ok, I'll admit what I have. It's a tribal bad mofo tatoo on my shoulder and upper arm. This is when I had big delts and biceps. Today, those have shrunk.

But, even though it is a great design, it was a shitty job I got on Samui a few years ago when I was drunk and it has faded. I need to have it touched up. I guess I'll get around to it someday.

But that's not a monk. At the risk of Dalton saying I'm a nympho that wants to shag monks, this tattoo is supposed to be done with chanting (different words at different stages). As it is, it'll be done in a tattoo parlour opposite a karaoke bar. Somehow, I don't think the protection value will be as high...

Interesting to know that laymen do that type, though. Not that I'll ever get another one after this, of course...
