I'm Buying a Motor bike for my son,he is 16yrs old, can he have the papers in his name.?

The motor bike is paid for in cash.

And will be under 90cc

Have seen some younger if side car is attached. They cut their teeth standing in the MC leg well. They get raised to have no fear of MC dangers.

Seems correct Horatio. Thais become legally adults at 20 so are able to sign legal documents.

Assuming your asking me a question, because most questions end in question marks, I could fookin' care less. I was suggesting a possible course of action for you in order to mitigate your exposure to costly insurance claims.

Since a teenager has less sense than the common cockroach, I would be willing to bet there's going to accident. If you own the bike, you own the responsibility.

Personally, it will give me a giggle if you have to pay for his fuck ups because you were too stupid to make sure you WEREN'T responsible.

CS, You must know a lot of youngsters who haven't had guidance from there parents,though my son is a very responsible young lad,and he rides his bike very carefully,and is more than aware of idiot adults who cause the majority of accidents in Thailand.

Considering you work with children/youngsters you do seem to have a very negative attitude to the very people you teach.

There are those old 'Dios' that are 50cc (And actually very good fun. Weigh less than a bag of sugar and have 4 inch wheels.

Don't they have to be a minimum of 100cc to be able to be legally registered?

Not sure yet will go around the shops and see looking to spend around 45k. just want him to be independent.
