so Jon taking over the Iron Throne but resides in the North,
or maybe the silly Dragon burn the whole Iron Throne
All set up now for Arya to kill Daenerys.
If you watch the last conversation between Daenery and Tyrion, she knew exactly what she was going to do and knew it would be her downfall so it was a kind of sacrifice to clear the path for peace.
^ There is no other explanation for her murdering thousands of civilians and destroying half the city, if not to seal her own downfall then it becomes a mindless act ...her first in the story.
spoilers ahead.....
some might say that she's gone mad....like her father....and she looked pretty damn angry just after the bells started ringing.
and FWIW, there have been at least several questionable plot mechanisms this season.
but, of course you could be right. we'll find out in a week's time.
Of course she has gone mad, and did exactly what her father did
Everyone could see it now, and even her slave general has something against her for sacrificing his lover, even if she had no choice, she is still part of the sacrifice act
Cersei really had a good ending, peaceful in some ways, surrounded by love
well done IMO
Either they move the Iron Throne to the North, or he rules it with the Dragon with Tyron as the hand and rebuild the city and unite the North and South on completely new grounds (hence the need to completely destroy the old legacy to build the new one)
In some ways the Dragon Queen does create the condition to unite the North and South again, and for that, her city destruction was useful
Now that the north wall is down and the wildlings are allies not enemies, the north might become the new central...or centre of power.
yep, Winterfell was there for a reason, the great wall
that gone, what's the real role of Winterfell?
definite possibility, eh?
Good Rolling Stone article about the failings of this season and in particular the sloppy screenwriting.

Piss weak episode for Arya today.
To get all the way to the map room on the way to kill Cesei, for the hound to just tell her to go home. She thanks him and then proceeds to go home. That was fucked.
I know it allowed them to tell the story of the simple folk that she meets along the way out, but it was a fucked plot.
Stephen King thinks that the dwarf will be king.
But he also tweeted:
The second royal baby will be Veronica if a girl, Jughead if a boy.
Arya final moment would be when she kills the Dragon's Queen,
unless Jon does it before she gets a chance,
Looked to me like slave general Greyworm was fully on board with Danny in her cleansing of the city after he lost his GF. Danny still needs support on the ground. Without Greyworm & the Unsullied behind her you just open up another plot hole asking why someone doesn't just kill her in her sleep.
Some people think it don't, but it be.
6 more days to find out, let's hope the finale will be at least 2h
