    Jesus is Hot

People Claim To See Jesus In Flames Engulfing Notre Dame Cathedral

    David Moye, HuffPost

The whole world witnessed the massive fire that destroyed Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral on Monday, but some people claim they saw something even more amazing: an image of Jesus.
“When I looked at this photo last night, I was really astounded by what I saw,” 38-year-old Lesley Rowan told Scotland’s Daily Record. “When I look at it I see a silhouette of Jesus. I really see a vivid image.”

Rowans said she believed the image was a positive one.

“I feel like it will bring comfort to people in Paris and all over the world at this sad time,” she said.

Others who’ve seen photos of the cathedral are also convinced they see a divine image in the flames.

Majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd

    Well of course they did.
There'll be bits of centuries old charred wood going for sale as relics, soon too.

...and God is in the wind:

Wall covered in crosses still standing after tornado destroys family home: 'It was nothing but the grace of God’

Kerry Justich,Yahoo Lifestyle 11 hours ago

Family home destroyed in Texas tornado, except for a wall of crosses. (Photo: KBTX)Some family members in Texas are counting their blessings after a tornado destroyed most of their home — except for a wall of crosses.
The Darnell family home, in the town of Franklin, was one of many demolished when a tornado tore through the area on Saturday. And although city officials have reported that there were no fatalities, the community has still taken a big hit.
Crystle Darnell-Whitmore took KBTX through the neighborhood that she grew up in, including the debris that now stands in place of her childhood home. Amongst the destruction, however, are two fully intact walls that are bringing the family some peace.

Here’s how to protect the most vulnerable during a natural disaster

While you’re probably aware of certain things you should do, such as listening to evacuation orders and having a disaster kit, it’s important to keep in mind that you’ll also need to think of how to care for your pets, as well as elderly and handicapped loved ones, in the event of a disaster. Here’s what you should do if the worst happens.

“Mom’s cross wall. This is pretty much the only wall still standing,” Darnell-Whitmore said. “There’s another wall that she has stickers on it that say ‘Faith and Hope’ with first Corinthians 13:13 verse on there.”
Right before the tornado hit, Darnell-Whitmore was sitting on the home’s front porch with a friend, while her children were collecting hailstones from the storm outside. When the weather started picking up, she called everyone inside and quickly looked for a place to hide.
“I slammed this door shut when I saw that truck coming, I saw the wind moving it,” she said of a neighbor’s vehicle. “The roof just come off and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh I can’t make it,’ so I hid in the bathroom with everyone else and it was all of us piled up in this small bathroom.”
Outside of the bathroom that kept the whole family safe is where the two walls remain.
Darnell-Whitmore didn’t immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment. However, she posted to her Facebook page after Saturday’s storm to show more of the damage and to ask people for prayers.

Talking of hot Jesus, there were lots of bits of toast or grilled cheese where he appeared. Learnt a new word: Pareidolia, "Pareidolia is a type of apophenia, which is a more generalized term for seeing patterns in random data. Some common examples are seeing a likeness of Jesus in the clouds or an image of a man on the surface of the moon".
Goodness, is that definition blaspheming by lumping the man in the moon with Jesus?

Who knows what JC looked like; could've been a divine image of the arsonist. Ironic if they find the guy and fall to their knees while he wonders wtf's going on...

Or maybe I'm just a bit weird today.
