Nice image of one of the Boys. However I did ask the photographer not to get the palm tree growing out of his head!
The image/light sensors got this difficult shot right.
Sun background and a peaked cap shadowing his face, but still came out well.

It's got a 'slow-mo' function. No idea exactly how it works, but the effect is cool.

Need a replacement for my well abused Huawei P9.
I would go with Huawei again to stick it to the US government, but it is not a safe bet considering google support now.
A9 or A50?
SweetMaybe you actually prize taking pictures more than anything else, and need a phone that despite being cheaper than a flagship device still delivers a powerful and versatile all-round camera system.
If so, then a phone like the Samsung A9 with its stacked quadruple camera system will be more down your street.

4. Samsung Galaxy A9
The best cheap phone for photography enthusiasts
Reasons to buy
+Incredible camera package+Large "Immersive Display" screen+Generous 6GB of RAM
Now available for close to £300 SIM-free if you shop around, the Samsung Galaxy A9 could tempt those who’ve resisted plumping for a second-hand flagship Galaxy.
The start of the show on the Samsung Galaxy A9 is its rear-mounted quadruple camera system, which delivers a 24-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a depth-sensing 5-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor for long-range shooting, and finally a 10-megapixel ultra wide angle 120-degree sensor for capturing breathtaking panoramas and tall landmarks.
Oh, and that's not forgetting that the A9 also comes with a 24-megapixel front selfie camera as well - that's a five sensor camera system on a phone that costs just over £300. Madness!
It's not just about the camera, though, on the Samsung Galaxy A9, with the handset also coming loaded with a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen, solid Snapdragon 660 processor, a generous 6GB of RAM, and a well-sized 3,800mAh battery, too.
A truly fantastic cheap smartphone, now at an incredibly affordable price point.
Playing havoc with my ocd
^ Thanks Dill ^^ Thanks Lulu
Dillinger ... is there any secret to post portrait photos.
Mine always seem to rotate.
Thanks
Great pics. What's it like in low light?
Haven't had many yet. The Lass is still using her older Galaxy 5 for here everyday phone.
The only sort of fault I've seen yet was she made a video of the boys on the bed.
One was sitting up and the other reclining on the pillow.
They were singing hence movement with their heads and the camera was focusing on one, then the other,
so it looked a bit blurry.
When she takes some more pics, I'll paste them here for comparison.
Oh ... the phone doesn't use the standard micro usb port for the phone connection.
It's the same shape, just a bit wider, so you need a special cable.
Not a biggie, just an inconvenience.
^ ^^ Could be a USB type C ... if it's the the new standard, then great.
Makes sense.
Thanks for the heads up.
I can order Huawei P20 Pro from Amazon Germany for 599 Euros.
The kicker is that they deduct the VAT on checkout since the shipment is going outside EU.
So even with shipping and PREPAID customs charge to Thailand the phone ends up being less than 599 Euros.
Is this a good price or is this sucker gonna drop to 100?
^ They are just over 400 euros on Lazada
Decent pics overall but not close up
The price had already nosedived when the P30 Pro came out.

^ they look too cheap until you realise that's not the buy it now price and loads on there are pre owned, refurbished or locked to UK networks.
Better off going to Lazada and getting one with a warranty imho
