Personally, I believe that everyone should be respected whatever their body type and there certainly exists an insanity in the fashion world where tiny ladies are foregrounded as the normal size; this does cause real anxieties and issues for growing ladies, teens, so that should be addressed and to some extent has and is being addressed.
On the other side, some folks that claim to be victims, rightly or wrongly, are rather aggressive in their attacks on others who are also just everyday human beings, and these folks very often use cliches and labels to dehumanise others. One could suggest, and I would agree, that if you're a member of a 'disadvantaged group' and you attack others with labels and dehumanising discourse then you become part of the problem rather than the solution.
