When I moved in, there was only the water trough and scoop for a shower. I installed the shower heater and blue piping to trip over.... At least I can enjoy a warm/hot shower now.

Kinda miss the overall cultural picture as such applies to your surmised intentions of the Asian feet thing.

    Oh, well - never mind.

As the gf explained the feet are the lowest point of the human anatomy and that is why folks drive new Toyota Hiluxes but have the crapper go to the dogs.

Fcuk knows why I didn't run the blue pipe along the wall and behind the loo.... Anyway, I don't trip over it and at least I get to have a warm/hot power shower, rather than slopping cold water over my arse...

So one day I drove past an abandoned resort. Strange that all the rooms I checked out still had all their fixtures.

I guess it must be bad jew jew if you lift a porcelain doodoo.

I got a tour of a new throne room install. Two thumbs up. Bet the maid will get a pinch as well.

Simon this is what we have at the farmhouse. A bit rough but but doable. I don't trust the well water. In fact I recently cured the last bought of dysentery with a half of a bottle of King Robert.

Like I said, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Considering that I'm an older, single guy and living alone, I think the bathroom looks reasonably clean and bright, (it's a rented house, so I don't want to replace the loo and floor/wall tiles - I would if I planned to stay here for yonks).

Its lacking a certain Thai authenticity, at least 30 feet of 1/2 inch blue pipe

I have to say that having traveled / worked in India and South America, Thai Shitters warrant Michelin Stars compared to some of the horror shows i've seen.

The worst though was in the UK, Glastonbury c 1988 a hot day and they'd not been to pump out the portaloos and upon opening the first was faced with a mini mountain of shit, 2nd the same and so on. What struck me was that to get theirs curled off on the top some must have been hanging from the Portaloo ceiling - a hedge beckoned.

Ah, you mean that there's not enough blue pipe? That's because the photo only shows the left side of the bathroom. I don't dare take a photo that shows the right side.....

Strolls, after 30 years are you owning up to the bad boy on the top of the pile in trap 1 at the back of the pyramid field? Weird how some of life's mysteries resolve themselves as time goes by. Thanks.

I love the forethought in planting a toilet paper roll under shower heads in a couple of these pics. Pre-dampened wet wipes?

This place was bad ass. Irvine Texas restaurant in yuppie ville.
Candles and mouthwash with actual hand towels. Glad I didn't pick up the tab in this joint. Im happy in not knowing what it was. I can only imagine.
