Bill also has no clothes and a tit on his head.

I shall be giving up smoking again. Having a Months detox, gettimg back on the weights and starting a proper exercise regime.

    Sounds like plan mate.

Yup - these no resolution New Years are becoming downright habit forming.

Exercise on a regular basis, eat less junk food and cut down on the beers/vodka.
Grand in theory, putting it into practice is another matter.

I wasn't going to have any resolutions this year because I don't usually succeed in them. However, I've just decided on these resolutions...

    Drink more
    Put on more weight
    Save less money
    Do less exercise.

Let's see how I get on with them.

Snap. Have a pool at a new house I'll be spending a lot more time in, so gonna be swimming a lot more. Hopefully daily after waddling 5-10km.

    Actually, what's best?

    Swimming after a few Km.
    Swimming before a few Km.
Or separate them, and do swimming one day, walking/jogging/waddling the next day?

Stop smoking, do weights, start jogging, cycling, tennis and swimming, eat well, be more realistic.

That's the spirit Nev and Anti Lulu, brings balance to the universe. Trust me on this they will be eminently achievable, into my 40th year of the very same resolution.

A Happy New Year to one and all, including Manny & Princess who continue to Red where you aren't even posting sad little people.

    EDIT

PS and the little yerman dog munching druggie

Well Nev, as you can imagine and as was pointed out by certain angst ridden posters, Manny, AO, Sqiuz, Princess et al you simply cannot keep up the posting momentum i maintained.

I had to go to a retreat in Thailand for a while involving Orange Robes, eating manky rice and listening to endless sanskrit chanting in between listening to what is going on in my head - at least that was the plan, the reality was somewhat more akin to getting belted on Chang, Burning the FiL, developing a very nasty case of heartburn which is leading me to think of giving up Chilli and making plans for a run of 5 "rooms" as they call them in Thailand or single storey shop houses if i can find a builder to trust to build if i am not there but the ROC of 8 years is attractive.

Oh and visited many low brow eateries which would have TC shivering.

Depends on your age and starting level of personal fitness and duration of activity.

Dont forget to warm up the muscle groups you will be using, before starting any exercise. I’m assuming you are under 50 and not at risk from any current or prior illness or injury. You should be fine to do both. Start of with light walk/jog/waddle, early enough to avoid the heat.
Swim after a warm down. Shower and relax with a cold drink. electrolytes can help if you lose fluids through exercise.

PS don’t listen to amateur pharmacists
