nope, usually have my fixer sort it before I leave the police station cells.
Verbal warning when I was 15 for smoking a joint openly in da mean streets of Sheringham- gem of the North Norfolk Coast! The confiscation pissed me right off.
Spent the night in the cells of gt. Yarmouth for nicking a life boat ring on the way home from a night out.
My retirement plan is a year or so in a Thai jail so I can get a book published.
Spent the night in the cells of GY or Lowestoft (Lowestoft i think) for running amok at a Radio Caroline promoted gig with Dr Feelgood headlining. Bouncers dare'nt do anything so called the cops. Cops stopped the show half way through Feelgood to arrest me & my mate. I blame it on the acid & mushrooms & copius amounts of alcohol. Unfortunately, the support band was my missus's. She was not a happy bunny the following day, and never got another gig with Radio Caroline.
Small world.
Saw many bands at West Runton just down the road. In those days Cromer was Heroin Central - a place to avoid. Sheringham has always been much nicer. I grew up in North Walsham and had many m/c mates from Aylsham....
Stalham greasers... ah those were the days....
Had a criminal case filed against me here in 2002 for shooting a police officer. Prosecutor threw the case out.
Care to tell us a few details ?
^Not much to it. I was teaching a class at the Police Special Action Force base camp. There were several ranges. Earlier, I had pointed out that they had troops in tents in a dangerous area at risk of fire from two ranges (neither of which I was on). Sure enough, a stray round hit a cop in that area. He filed a criminal complaint that basically said "The foreigners did it." When my partner and I met with the prosecutor at the courthouse, we submitted a detailed trajectory analysis showing it was impossible for the round to have come from the range we were on. A ballistics analysis also showed he was hit with a 9mm, and per police witnesses, we were only using .45's. Prosecutor tossed the case on the spot.

LD was right for once. Other people’s lives are more interesting than his, even if it was only a routine matter for DK.
Only been in prisons for visits.
