My Batshit Crazy Malaysian Datin Tenant is a Crack Whore?

Fortunately the self entitled BFH moved out from
    my KL apartment this week

The apartment was in a shit state. So Ive had three days with aircon engineers, cleaners, decorating etc. will cost arounf 15000 myr to sort plus my time.

    Then the cleaners find this:

She’s going to lose most of her deposit and is screaming for it all back. She is delightfully selfish and vocal, to the point of self parody. A Datin apparently

Good you have photos. Who knows what sort of connections she has. May pay to give her baggie back and some photos of the mess and drugs when you don't cave in to her demands for the deposit.

In the bag is Ice (crystal meth), probably Malaysia's most popular drug and an evil one at that.
On the table looks to be a line of coke.

That condo will be contaminated now and wallpaper and paint wonr remove it.

If I was the OP I'd be wanting more than keeping the deposit

Unlike other substances, such as tobacco or cannabis, there is no telltale evidence of use which makes it hard to detect as homebuyer or landlord.

“There is a big misconception with meth that it is just a drug like cannabis or cigarette smoke,” Mr Goodall said.

The contamination also remains in the home long after the manufacturers or users have moved out, even if there have been renovations.

“Methamphetamine is different. It is chemical-based so it does not go away. It isn’t biodegradable and it doesn’t disappear. Contamination can remain in the house of years and years after it was smoked or manufactured in the house,” Mr Goodall told news.com.au.

“You might walk into a house with brand new carpets and brand new paint and a nice, new renovated kitchen. You can’t see what is underneath it. That house is potentially still contaminated ... You can paint over the plaster board but the stuff will leak back through the paint. It does not go away.”

Depending on how heavy the contamination is, removing it can range from chemical washes to replacement to complete knockdown and rebuilds.

“In an average scenario, you may have to remove the plaster boards and pull up the most absorbent materials in the house such as carpet and insulation,” Mr Goodall said.

“Heavy contamination can seep right into the timber of the house. Worst-case scenario you have to knock the house down because you can’t get rid of the contamination, but this is rare.”

Common exposure is through skin contact with surfaces containing meth residue or though inhalation of chemicals and organic compounds. This can lead to serious health issues with side effects including disrupted sleep, anxiety, respiratory problems, rashes, children with inattention or ADHD-like behaviour psychosis and damage to the brain, liver and kidneys

I think we need pictures of this tenant, if only to protect ourselves from this rogue.

I think you're confusing it with a meth lab where highly toxic chemicals get imbued onto the walls and ceilings.
Just about every pub toilet in the UK and New York would have seen coke snorted in their cubicles....no problems

Indeed, and that's why I took the different approach of suggesting he take the photos but give the stash back to her to disuade her from doing anything when she loses her deposit.
SE Asia being what it is, she's more likely to skulk away at that, but perversely if the drugs were handed in, she'd have the contacts to get off and be free to come after him for her deposit.

It's because of fuckwitts who are smoking it instead of shooting it.

Could well have been one, or a den.

You can get meth testing kits and find out.

Yeah, sorry, I didn't read your article.
But upon doing so, I recall there has been much controversy wrt meth labs pollution and the lasting effects, let alone just doing coke or meth in a place. There are some cleaning companies creaming it with scare tactics.

Who cares? If it's a rental unit its hardly his lookout if the people who live there get whacked out on ding dongs, wet williies and slippy sloppies.

Giving the baggie to her could leave him in a right mess; fex blackmail if he withholds her deposit, or she gets busted and they ask her where she got it from...

I've just made a report at local nick. The downside of bei g fitted up by SE Asian plod is outweighed by the danger of spurious allegations from batshit crazy tenant if they deliberately hid this shit there knowi g they had trashed the place.

An inspector is on way to visit now too..

In a normal country this sort of thi g wouldn't be scary. Asia.........

    Mistake.
Apart from the potential trouble with her, you might get the apartment tested & declared inhabitable.
