A condemned Man or Ladies last meal (s)

So, we are all going to meet our maker or whatever end you subscribe to. If you knew that day what meal would you choose?

I apologise if it's been done before but if so a twist is this - screw one meal you are given the gift of foresight three days hence - you therefore have 3 meals you can chose (yes i know only 1 per day but this is TD). You are also blessed with your meal being provided by or at any establishment of your choosing or recreated from a prior meal so.....

Me, for my 3 meals i chose this (you can keep yours shorter but this is your last rights):

    1. Fruit de mer : i'll take mine in Punta Arenas in Chile - it was memorable and not called fruit de mer but it was a seafood platter and came with a seemingly never ending supply of food and friendly staff who kept me eating with them til 4am. - and i didn't pay for food just the wine

    2. Argentina - a whole carcass BBQ or asado - Beef all of it and great red wine - fuk the veggies and carbs. Again i ate with the staff after hours but this went on for 4 nights i think my colon has never recovered but that beef by god.

    3. This is going to sound weird but food is about the company and setting sometimes as much as the food itself - A Thali (india type multiple dish curry) - this was in Nepal during the last kings overthrow - the food was just normal Nepali but the occasion was freedom after house confinement for 3 weeks and we snuck out, got shot at as there was a shoot to kill curfew but fuk was the chilled beer and that 1 curry one of the best.

so apologies for the paragraphs but what are your three before the switch gets thrown?

    2) A full course Italian Sunday afternoon evening family spread, loaded with wines, mineral waters, antipasto, mozzeralla di bufala caprese, gnocci, lasagna, fruitta de mare, gamberoni, pesce, codo de diavolo as a digestive, gelato,

    3) A New England Surf and Turf, Maine Lobster and prime Filet Mignon

...impossible: the 3 best meals depend on place, time and resources available...the selections will change according to circumstances, perceptions and probably sobriety<--hmmm: sounds a bit like Jeff, no?...

    Interesting.

    1. A seafood platter for sure (my best ever was in France, many moons ago).
    2. A decent rib eye steak (my best ever was in a bar/restaurant in New Orleans)
    3. A final plate of my mums roast chicken dinner (as she made when I was a teen)

Nid, that's a good one, my mum passed long ago and your choice would mean i could have a meal with her, one last time, nice one, `not thought of that option.

Names please, aside from your own?

But you could be right, since one is indeed a number.

I would thought ones' impending demise might spoil the appetite somewhat. Although on the other hand, if it was certain other posters one might be forgiven for making an absolute pig of oneself.

Breakfast: A full English with fresh orange juice and black coffee
Lunch: Lobster with fresh lemon slices and some herb butter. - a few glasses of vintage Dom, I don't want to be totally toasted just yet
Dinner: Steak, garlic butter, grilled tomatoes from Shan State, triple fried french fries, bottle of 1986 Chateu Lafite Rothschild- my favorite winery + my birth year/

And to finish, a line of coke for pre-execution courage

^ 86 was a piss poor year for Lafite. Just sayin'

Breakfast - Toast with marmalade with a cup of tea.
Lunch - Lasagne with a green salad and sparkling water.
Supper - Cheese and cucumber sandwich and a couple of scoops of icecream for afters with a Port.

Don't care where as long as the bread is top notch and the lasagne is not still cold in the middle.
