How many of these clueless wankers are there?
I've met so many who:

Don't eat in Thai restuarants.
Don't learn the language.
Don't give a f#ck about the people.
Don't know when a Thai is robbing them blind.
Don't live in Thailand but there own little farang world were it's just like back home!!!
Finally farangs that talk shit about Thais behind and infront of them cos they haven't got anything better to do!!

Agreed. I know many people who live a completely western life here and have been here for many years. E.g. I know one guy who is married with a Thai wife and has two kids, been here for 10+ years and speaks not a word of Thai.

As farangs, we live here for the good life. I eat Thai food and speak some Thai. I know the customs and a lot about Thai history. However, I refuse to live a substandard life. I am not going to drive like a rude, selfish idiot and I am not going to cut in line and knock people down too get ahead of them in line. I am not going to worship spirits and become a superstitous person. i do not see too many farangs (long stay or short stay) moving to the village and living like an impovershied Thai. If you do, God bless you. i can't.

Sometime I talk about Thais, but I have news for you....they talk about you too. Stupid farang trying to get a tan, wasting money on cetain things, and doing the job right instead of slapping it together. Here is another secret, Thais talk about Thais behind their backs and in front of them as well. The eucated ones about the uneducated ones. The skinny ones about the fat ones. The light skinned about the dark ones. The rich about the poor and on and on and on.......

Thais are different and we can't change our lifestyle to be just like them. Who would want to. If we did it would take 5 of us to change a light bulb!

Even my wife shakes her head at some of things Thais pull.

It does not mean we do not care about Thai people. it does not mean that we hate them. It is no different than when i was in my home country.

Not trying to dispite that there are some green farangs here, but enjoying Thailand for what it is is not a factor in being a green farang.

Thais can be very crafty and heartless too,I've had problems with a few locals myself.How many times do you have to the see the light before the car hits you in the face?So many get burned by not listening and learning about things,I feel sorry for those people.
