As you suggest a limited government welfare is available and the Thai health service is available but limited to patch them up type offerings. However family links are strong and local village welfare is available. But the family do rally around far more because of the knowledge that the family and the monks are all there is when needed.

If you continue to put ameristani "gals" on a pedestal they will continue. There are well balanced women all around the world. There are also bitches, irrespective of location. There are many different nationalities who post here, all have good and bad experiences with their native females. None suggest their home town girls are the best. Many in fact whilst living here in Thailand reconsider what a "partnership" means, away from the norms/social pressures they may have experienced elsewhere.

Having been invited to local village school "events" I can assure you that many, if they wish, have ample opportunities to learn traditional western dance skills, probably more taught in Thailand at school than elsewhere, as well as traditional Thai dancing. Not being a "ballroom" dancer I cannot say they "waltz" well, but they slide around the room both boys, girls and in-betweens pretty well. In addition they are also influenced by their peers and local TV. It's amusing to see some 14/15 year old girls thrusting/pumping their wide open legs/hips, caressing their inner thighs and lower stomach at the school headteacher and local dignitaries, then turn around, lay down, arch their backs and present themselves for mounting.

I will stick my neck out and suggest very few arrive in Thailand looking for a baby girl to abuse. There are some, but more than at home? Some are attracted to a slim petite body but that's maybe because many western ladies, of all ages, are overweight. Many enjoy Thai women because they have a caring attitude and do take care in a way possibly forgotten in the west. Anyway, thank you for taking the time, to post a balanced, non-antagonistic reply. For purposes of clarity, let me just say, that the Op topic thread asks why are Thai women "being such parasites and users."

An attitude that I totally disagree with, btw. In that regard, certainly, there are western women, who are parasites, and users. That much is a fundamental given, within the overall "human" characteristic trait.


I do not come to this platform berating Thai womenfolk. Unlike many other posters, who sleep with Asia women, make babies with them,...and then (hypocritically) berate the intelligent levels of those same womenfolk.

I reiterate, I personally view (born-in-Thailand) Thai womenfolk, as some of the sweetest womenfolk, I've ever encountered in Asia.


However, I am not two-faced, and will not pretend to express appreciation for non-existent qualities in any female (Eastern, Western or otherwise), just because I happen to enjoy my sexual encounters with her.


In my Life's experience, there are vast cultural differences (in values),...between Eastern and Western women-folk. My personal preference is western women, whenever the opportunity presents itself; even now , at my

age, as my OP post "Celebrating The Home_Grown American-Girl", exemplifies.


Thus, I need not apologize for taking that position. There is a valid reason why the Russians, and many other European farangs, bring their own (home-grown) womenfolk with,...to Thailand,...instead. I totally

concur with those reasoning factors,...again for reasons previously stated.


Indeed, I thoroughly enjoyed my teenage years, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s to the max. Thus, I did not come to Asia, in my retirement years, to prove anything (regarding my virility), or to relive some unfulfilled chapters

of my life. Thus, I am now a retired expat in Thailand, for the financial affordability of the Thai system, only. And not to fill-in any Richard Forbrain "blank" spaces, between the sentences of my life...especially at the age

of 65 years. My personal preference is western oriented womenfolk, regardless of their skin color, ethnic or cultural heritage,...and,..again, for the detailed reasons that I have previously stated.


These are my personal preferences,...as posted, with the intent to share my personal point of view,..only. I can only speak to my own life experiences. Not to someone else's.


In my considered opinions, SE Asian women make great temporary live-in housemaids (with perks); not lifetime "partners". And,...there are several distinct,..and easily recognized differences, between those two entities.


Traditionally,...Asian (Thai) women are socialized (from childhood) to obediently serve a man;...not to love him. And that's an absolute fact. It's integral within the Thai culture. Thus, any farang who refuses to recognize

the facts, that (1) there will always be a Thai bloke, standing (like a ghost) in the background of the average Thai woman's life; (2) that his Thai "girl-friend is granted "permission" (from the male elder of her family) to be

together (for any extended period) with any foreigner; (3) that the level of friendship (love & devotion) forthcoming from the average Thai woman, is strictly dependent upon that farang's utility value, to both that Thai

lady,...and her family,...first, last and always, then that farang is definitely living in a fantasy world of the LOS. Several books,..depicting real-life accounts,...have been published, over the past 50 years,...regarding this

topic.


Thus, Mr. OhOh, if you've found your preferred "cup of tea" of a lady, within the Asian world, then...indeed,...I am sincerely happy for you, sir. fact 1. I pity you for believing another story. Some rentals I've known did have a "brother" but it was so obvious I can't agree to your "ghost" idea. When you arrive later in her life she will have history, friends or old lovers. Whether it matters to you only you can decide.

fact 2. In my experience of rural Thai life the senior woman is the decision maker. In hi-so families, wannabe families and hand to mouth families. Thai men are tolerated for their bread winning labours.

fact 3, I would suggest the value of a male in a family is always dependent on their ability to satisfy his wife's demands, in whatever ways she chooses and there not always logical to a man's mind, along with her children's. Stop providing that which she believes in necessary and a woman, from all continents, will look for a replacement. Thais are no different to other nationalities, families/blood is always thicker than a potentially fly by night partner.

I equally am glad that anybody who has found happiness will continue to experience it. Sometimes one's partner disagrees with the life she is leading and it's time for one to look around. There are always some around willing to chance a new start even with a foreigner. Why, because they want more out of their lives than that which they are currently getting. If the new partner is a "handsome man", measured in whatever is important to her, wealth, physique, social acceptability, child care, use of an ironing board, transportation to paradise..... he's regarded as a risk worth taking.

The trick is to recognise the "disturbance in the wind" and make it easy for all concerned to move on, after confirming explicitly the situation is no longer tenable. After all your partner has provided you with herself for a part of her life and deserves all you can give.
