Well, respect to you for embracing your dimness.

    Kinda.

You just made the rest of that up, obviously.

You do that a lot, don’t you.

Elton Musk is a real nutter, and clearly demonstrated it on the rescue and the twitter storm

wouldn't surprise me that he will lose his CEO job over this in the coming few days,

I wouldn't have put it like that, but I won't argue.

Apparently that makes me a homoerotic something or other.

When someone is playing god on taxpayers and shareholders money, the least he can do is shut his yapper.

I had little respect for Musk. Now I think he is just a piece of shit.

Yes, a real genius and not at all mouthy:

Tesla’s shares fell 3.5% on Monday following Chief Executive Elon Musk’s unfounded accusation on Twitter that a British cave expert involved in the dramatic rescue of 12 boys and their soccer coach trapped underground in northern Thailand was a “pedo.”

Reuters reports that analysts and investors said Musk’s public statements could be distracting him from what they view as his main task: making electric cars. Tesla shares fell from $318.87 on Friday’s close to $307.20 in after-hours trading on Monday, Reuters reports, stripping almost $2 billion from the company’s market value.

So what are you doing in Thailand amongst all these "sub 100 IQ natives" ?

if the english bloke had said something along the lines of thai women being beautiful and petit like young girls or some such

    Which post is that?

Interesting how Musk fanboys run away when faced with the real facts, like actual dates and direct quotes, I guess that is what happens when you base your arguments on Musk's twitter page.

In addition it would depend on the Thai embassy staff actually read the demanded "Police Certificate" correctly or consider Paedophilia was an acceptable/non denying visa crime.

If he was convicted in Thailand/ASEAN country he would be in jail or thrown out.

I suggest, subject to TD CSI agreement, he has not been convicted and as such it is an actionable event which could end in a billion or two in damages.

Wrong. On the visa aspect (is police clearance required for marriage visa? I think not), and also because of the glaring flaw in the requirement for police clearance; Take me for exampe. I travel on an Australian passport but have resided in NZ for 30 plus years. If I needed a police clearance, it would be from Aus...totally redundant because having not lived in Aus I committed no crimes in Aus.

On the issue of the "mini- sub" being suitable, it appears to me to be long and rigid - longer than the person pulling it in the video Musk posted on his Twitter page on July 8th. As it's so long and rigid, I doubt it would get past the tight spots in the cave. Even the Prime Minister hints at this.

Gen Prayut said on Wednesday that Mr Musk showed him the equipment when they met at Chiang Rai airport. He thanked Mr Musk for his help, the premier said. "His equipment will definitely be useful in several other situations. In Thailand, it may not be able to pass through some narrow passageways.... Stop dramatising," Gen Prayut said.

The way I see it, at the time of the correspondence between Musk and Stanton (?) regarding the sub idea I believe there was still no consensus on how they were going to get the boys out of the cave. So it would have been foolish for any idea/s or help to be refused so Stanton tells Musk to keep working on the sub. Who knows they might have come up with something that could have been used. All that happened after that did not suit Musk so he cracked the shits.
For those who think he's a genius then I would agree as he fits in well alongside that other genius Mr Trump.

Yup Trump is trying to make the first electric car for the masses. Trump has as well developed a rocket system that cost fractions of a NASA launch and brings the booster rocket back to earth to be used again..

EVEN Prayut! Now there's an endorsment to have not used the sub. If the guy who has done a parachute jump doesn't like it, it must be no good.

In Thailand, he says. Not, "At Tham Luang", but "Thailand". Is there something Freudian there?

You forgot to say, "homoerotic". I gave you an actual quote by way of a sceenshot of a tweet...you chose to imply it was fabricated. So shut up.

Aren't you tired of stalking me with your nonsense comments and inaccurate inferences? Stop worrying that you don't belong to an old boys club and just be satisfied that you had a second rate education; It's better than a third rate one. Count your blessings.

You may be right. I don't know since I've never dived there. Apparently Stanton knows, and apparently Musk did too when he set his enigineers to the task.
And apparently Unsworth knows. Or does he? Yet to confirm; was he a diver or an experienced caver with a map and contacts?

I say again: Unsworth did great in providing the maps and knowledge of the cave, and even better in getting the authorities to get the Brit team over. I'll give him credit for that forever...he was a central and essential part of the whole success. Pivotal.

    Indeed.
It was all quite obvious that this "mini-tube" would not have been practical in this situation and applications.
And was stated so, at the time, by all the on-the-scene experts and tactical technicians.

Still curious to comprehend what the debate and argument might be from apologists circles.

Really? Obvious to you who has no better information than the rest of us that at one point the gap was 38 cm. (possibly expanded to 40 by the Thai underwater demolitions team (SEALS)?
Or do you have better information? Link please.
Where's your turnng-circle data? Where's your evidence that a rigid object couldn't get past all the obstacles? Where's your data that shows that the unconscious boys in their fairly rigid rigs did it but other rigid rigs couldn't have?
Were the unconscious boys turned sideways at times since their bodies couldn't bend sideways much? Link please. What contortions did the solitary diver escorting the individual boys have to make to the boys? Link, please.

I'm curious to know what the Unsworth apologists have in their store of information.

A screenshot from Musk's twitter page is not the same thing as a verifiable quote of what Stanton did/didn't say about the sub.

The screenshot you provided allegedly showing Stanton's one line replies to Musk are dated before Stanton or anybody else had seen the design so is largely irrelevant, the only thing your screenshot proves is that your struggling to follow the conversation and have your dates mixed up.

Let me give you an example of what a verifiable quote looks like:

Coventry firefighter Rick Stanton revealed he was never "totally convinced" about billionaire Elon Musk's plans to use a mini-sub to rescue a group of children trapped in a flooded cave in Thailand.

Speaking on ITV's This Morning today, Rick said the submarine was only a back-up plan, but admitted he had never actually seen it
