You have to learn to take control. Last night I told mine to keep quiet, make dinner, and get me my slippers and don't forget to clean up when I'm done.... I am expecting to be out of intensive care by the end of the month.

If you have a nagging partner and that become violently abusive , you have to put a stop to it otherwise the levels of violent abuse will increase and you are likely to end up injured .
Either end the relationship or make it clear that you can hit back much harder

The only two occasions a woman has caused me physical harm were due to excessive drinking on her part, and the fact that any man striking a woman is just totally reprehensible.

I will admit that me being disinclined to engage in any form of physical conflict, does add fuel to the fire. Never turn your back on an angry woman.
