Love they say is a many splendoured thing they say but it also can be fickle and fraught with Heartache. Often it takes many tries before you find “the one”. Sometimes it grows with time and familiarity. Sometimes that first time you see her you feel those butterflies in your stomach your heart speeds up. Sometimes we go through our whole life without really feeling it.
Later in life we realise that is never going to happen so we make compromises. We settle for second best. We tell ourselves that we will not find another better so we stick with “second best”. Sure we have nice warm feelings but we know deep down in our heart that she is not “the one.” We remain forever just not quite satisfied, but we bury the thought as best we can and go on through life making the best of it with the choice that we have made.
Some of us choose to end it and go on through life alone rather than accept life without that true love experience. That probably is an apt description of how my life went in many ways.
Then one day that real love you crave most hits you like a bolt of lightning.
The day you see her standing there for that first time. A moment that's forever frozen in time and you will never forget. Her beauty knocks you for a six. Your heart starts to race you feel your pulse quicken and those butterlies start to fly in your stomach like they never have before. You feel more alive than you have in years. Something in your heart tells you your long search has at last come to an end. You have found “the one”.
You go through the small talk to achieve your hearts desire. Then eventually comes that moment when you are finally alone together you slowly run your hands over the most beautiful sensual body you have ever seen. You do it slowly to savour the moment. Then it happens you slowly put your body on hers, savouring this moment of pure bliss. Then that special moment came that I will never forget and has embedded itself in my heart forever.
I gently almost as if a caress, pushed the starter motor and Suzi’s four beautiful cylinders kicked into life as if sleeping beauty had just awakened from the prince’s kiss and like the prince and sleeping beauty we rode off into the sunset at full throttle savouring every curve and bend on that glorious road. Years later me and Suzy are still together my love has not diminished as we travel down the road together feeling as one.
Well fook me I hope you didn't think I was talking about a sheila did ya? What sort of sicko do you take me for?
