Were lots of money trees and donation boxes, plenty of Thais buying the usual crap to go and make merit so the temple will have had a good day. Should have snapped some pics of the various odd couples and of course the usual white twats who think they are Thai, quite a spectacle some of them.

One in Runcorn next Sunday on the 29th, got to spread them out so the same people can go to all of them so show their Thainess. Only second one for me in 10 years, and 2 more in the next 10 years will do just fine.

Maybe, but around these parts in the West if 2 Temples are having Songkran Celebrations they hold
them a week apart, I presume as to to compete with each other.

Our local Temple had theirs a week ago and the larger Temple, about 70 klms north had theirs this
    past Sunday.

The rain saved me as got away with just over 2 hours of suffering. No beer tents at these gigs which is a shame as would make them a bit more bearable for the farang who doesn't think he is Thai or in competition with all others farangs to see who is the most Thai. There is good reason I normally avoid these things like the plague.
