    Keeping Cool.............

Fan on first time this year, we have two Aircon rooms that maybe used in May-June but so far nice.
Insode my Superbloc double thick walls around 24 degrees outside over 34 todayand higher due but at least with rains up here amongst teh "Golden Shower"

I find The Burmese Kilt or Sarong the most practical down the house and may even try it "on" down the immi one day to cheer em up ?

How do our members stay cool?
I used to have a job at a calendar factory.
    I got the sack because
I took a couple of days off.

You don’t have coolie with palm fronds al a it ain’t half hot mum?

I have a Sharp portable air cooler in the bedroom. Not needed most nights, but she has it on every night and I end up freezing. We are 1500 m asl so it’s cool here most evenings. Days are getting sunnier and warmer, but still bearable on the bike at midday.
If I get too hot, I just divert to the municipal baths.

But you are a foreigner and a savage. After all these years still in denial.

A sad confused old bumpkin, with the repetitious posting style of a fool in decline.

the full Brazilian for us hairy firbolgs is not the same without a caiparinha on Leblun or Copacabana

We cannot all be as naturally cool as Rootall Surin, do you think the full Brazilian a ripoff?

Caipirinha is Brazil's national cocktail, made with cachaça (sugarcane hard liquor), sugar and lime. Cachaça, also known as caninha, or any one of a multitude of traditional names, is Brazil's most common distilled alcoholic beverage

Have fans in all rooms that are used a lot. Have AC in all the bedrooms, but we almost never use them - I think only a few nights last year and never during the day. Always have a good breeze here in my valley and, being semi-rural, it's much cooler than the city.

Davis having full control over the remotes is wise!

For me I love the cold and even turn the ceiling fans on with the air -con to snuggle with the loved one.

I deserve it and it is the one thing I am happy to pay for.
